My mum used to tell me ...there was like nothing Jollof when she was there in the eighties. She was a life skills teacher in OYO and Niger states. Ghanaians introduced Jollof to Nigerians in the late 70's and the 80's
It’s not by who introduce the dish. It was about which I preferred and which tasted better to me. And besides jollof rice was not originated in ghana. It’s originally a Senegalese dish. So if what you claim is true that Ghanaians introduced jollof, I am pretty sure it was also introduced to Ghanaians too probably by the Senegalese. Does make Senegalese jollof better than ghana jollof or Nigerian jollof. No! So my point exactly 👍
@IsabiWaka Senegambian jollof is far tastier than both Nigeria and Ghanaian jollof. They don't even come close. I am Ghanaian and travel to Nigeria and Senegal several times a year.
I was at Bendel state by then a town near Warri called Alaja there was nothing like Nigeria jollof rice it was not part of your delicacy I mean in the early eighties
