Thanks for this video. How do I edit the responses to an event - I want to delete the option of Maybe, so the response option is only Going or Can’t Go. The Maybe feature serves no purpose, in my opinion for the Event Organizer. Thanks

Very helpful and well done video. at 11:26 you state you can "save as a draft", however I cannot find any videos or help files on how to access your event drafts. They are not under post drafts. I really think this is a faulty feature and that when you save a draft it just disappears. But if I am wrong I would love to see any help video showing me how to obtain an event via saved draft.

I am creating an event in a FB group and all is well except it seems to populate the event cover graphic as the same as the FB group and I can't seem to change it to my custom FB Event Banner that I created. It does give me the option to select one of their graphics but I don't see any button to upload my doc. What button do I need to click to see the 'upload button'?
Question: at 1:56 of your video you show the beginning stage of creating an event. Prior to that you indicated that you are doing this in the NEW version of Facebook. One of the items shown in your image is a link about halfway down the page on the left entitled "Schedule Multiple Events". On the version of Facebook I am using that link is nowhere to be found...and believe me I have searched and searched. Secondly, I was under the impression that I am using the most current version of Facebook, as it changed my entire profile look and options available. Can you please clarify and advise? Also for clarification, I am using the website version, not the app.

Hey I made my first event last week, however I’ve only got 1 Ticket purchased. Do I need to have sold tickets worth $500 in order to withdraw? Also I’m in the UK & our tax is already in the price tag, I should have to “pay” tax to withdraw. I just ran into that too. I think it's because online meetings generally require their own link each time so Facebook disabled it - but that's just a guess. I'd recommend creating it as a one time event. Then you can go in and Duplicate it and change the date. I know it's more work, but you could probably duplicate 10 events in about 5 minutes.

Is there no way to create a recurring event from a Facebook group anymore? As the owner of a group of over 1000 members, it used to be very convenient to add a recurring event, now it doesn't seem to be there. Am I just missing something or has this function been removed for groups and now can only be done on pages? Thank you in advance for your assistance!
As far as I can tell, unless they send you a specific message, nobody can say they going to your event from a mobile. They can only say that they're interested. Is there a way to change this?

Hi Mina & Allen - Apologies for not being able to answer all questions here. It got to the point where I would have to spend hours every day answering all the questions. I hope you understand. Unfortunately they've been making lots of changes with New Facebook, and it looks like recurring events are one of the things they may be getting rid of. In my experience, individual events perform a lot better. Also you can quickly duplicate an event. Hope that helps in the meantime!

I've published my FB event and it automatically listed it as FREE - which it is not. I am exclusively selling event registrations through my business's website (online link); not through FB. I have not been able to find the "Additional Details" page at all! In fact, this message is at the top of the "editing" page: "Editing isn't currently supported for Keywords and Event Schedules." How do I change the FB event settings to turn off the listing as "free?"

I have watched many RUclips videos about this and no one can solve my problem. My layout is sparse with very little options other than "share" and under "more" is Remove from my Events, Stop Notifications and Report event. I've made many events over the years and can't understand how this process has become so confusing.
Do you know how to invite people to an event? In the preview screen the tab for Invite is there, but when the event goes Live, the Invite tab disappears, unless I'm doing something very wrong. Thank you

Hey there, I'm having issues with an event I have made which has been made public and has over 500 invites. It wouldn't let me change the schedule so I looked around at some online forums and they suggested changing it to a different timezone completely. Now I can't change any information and it doesn't have the correct timezone/location anymore. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to delete the event and start over again. Helllppp!
It sounds like perhaps the event can't be changed after there is so much interest? Not sure, haven't run into that. Normally you can edit the time and everyone who has expressed interest will be notified.

Working on putting together a new event. I can't figure out how to get the "Price: Free" to go away or to edit it. I read that you cant edit the price once the event is published. However, when creating the event for the first time I still can't find the option to edit or set the price to something different than free... Any suggestions?
Facebook has been amping up their efforts to be a ticket seller. Unfortunately if you aren't selling tickets through them the default is free as far as I know. Very frustrating.

When I create an event, and I get to the location choices, it doesn't give me the three options that others in my group get - Facebook Live, External Link, or Other - I only see External Link and Other. The biggest stuff up of this new Facebook design is when you publish your event and then edit description, the photo disappears and the event on your page turns into a normal FB post.....Facebook has completely stuffed this up...How do we fix this issue. - Cheers

It looks like they base the time zone on the location you choose (even if the location isn't showing on the event). It says this underneath the Location box: "This location will set the time zone and help people discover your online event. It won't be visible to others."

Hey! I have some issues here. When I go to my Artist Page, I want to use the Online Event Feature inside the Event. But, the Box that you mark there, does NOT exist on my Page. But, if I go to another Page I administer, the Box is visible/ present...Why is that? And even on my Private Page, that Box is visible....Does it have to do anything with the Settings on my Page, or anything else?
Sorry you're not seeing it Tore! It's a really new feature so it's possible that it hasn't rolled out everywhere yet. The only other theory is that it is related to your Page's category?
You can add co-hosts. If your business page is the host of the event, admins of the page can access it. I don't think there is a way to add someone JUST as an admin for the event.

I'd recommend creating it as a one time event. Then you can go in and Duplicate it and change the date. I know it's more work, but you could probably duplicate 10 events in about 5 minutes.

Is there no way to create a recurring event from a Facebook group anymore? As the owner of a group of over 1000 members, it used to be very convenient to add a recurring event, now it doesn't seem to be there. As far as I can tell, unless they send you a specific message, nobody can say they going to your event from a mobile. They can only say that they're interested. Is there a way to change this?

Hi Mina & Allen - Apologies for not being able to answer all questions here. It got to the point where I would have to spend hours every day answering all the questions. I hope you understand.
Unfortunately they've been making lots of changes with New Facebook, and it looks like recurring events are one of the things they may be getting rid of.
In my experience, individual events perform a lot better. Also you can quickly duplicate an event. Hope that helps in the meantime!

I've published my FB event and it automatically listed it as FREE - which it is not. I am exclusively selling event registrations through my business's website (online link); not through FB.

I have watched many RUclips videos about this and no one can solve my problem. My layout is sparse with very little options other than "share" and under "more" is Remove from my Events, Stop Notifications and Report event. I'm having issues with an event I have made which has been made public and has over 500 invites. It wouldn't let me change the schedule so I looked around at some online forums and they suggested changing it to a different timezone completely. Now I can't change any information and it doesn't have the correct timezone/location anymore. Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to delete the event and start over again. Helllppp!
It sounds like perhaps the event can't be changed after there is so much interest? Not sure, haven't run into that. Normally you can edit the time and everyone who has expressed interest will be notified.

Working on putting together a new event. I can't figure out how to get the "Price: Free" to go away or to edit it. I read that you cant edit the price once the event is published. However, when creating the event for the first time I still can't find the option to edit or set the price to something different than free... Any suggestions?
Facebook has been amping up their efforts to be a ticket seller. Unfortunately if you aren't selling tickets through them the default is free as far as I know. Very frustrating.

When I create an event, and I get to the location choices, it doesn't give me the three options that others in my group get - Facebook Live, External Link, or Other - I only see External Link and Other. The biggest stuff up of this new Facebook design is when you publish your event and then edit description, the photo disappears and the event on your page turns into a normal FB post.....Facebook has completely stuffed this up...How do we fix this issue. - Cheers

How do you change the event timezone ?
It looks like they base the time zone on the location you choose (even if the location isn't showing on the event). It says this underneath the Location box:
"This location will set the time zone and help people discover your online event. It won't be visible to others."

That is odd. They may still be rolling it out.
You can just type whatever you want in the location box.

Hey! I have some issues here. When I go to my Artist Page, I want to use the Online Event Feature inside the Event. But, the Box that you mark there, does NOT exist on my Page. But, if I go to another Page I administer, the Box is visible/ present...Why is that? And even on my Private Page, that Box is visible....Does it have to do anything with the Settings on my Page, or anything else?

You can add co-hosts. If your business page is the host of the event, admins of the page can access it. I don't think there is a way to add someone JUST as an admin for the event.
