@@ChessCrafters-lk4dv Thanks for answering. English is not my motherlanguage, thats why i asked this question. Sorry for my bad english it is not as that good.
German compounds words in a way that English doesn't. So the direct translation of Zugswang is "movecompulsion" or "moveforce", and you can see the problem. Your English is better than my German. On the subject, how do you pronounce Zugswang? I grew up saying "Zooshsvang", with the last a pronounced as in swan, but I've heard a million varieties.
After King B5, white will still play an opposition with King D5. And white has Ne6, Nd4+, gaining a tempo allowing him to jump to the e2 square, though reaching the promotion square in time
Im very beginner. First put king in check. A5. Now your horse can traverse the vast landscape on a harrowing journey of pitfalls and turmoil to get to that idiot pawn who thinks he is better than everyone. You will get there ahead of schedule in the pinnacle of this pawns life only to cut it short with a quick and decisive blow to his health and ego.
but also the black villain will be in time to capture white last hope for humanity, that pawn on D2, dooming the human race for eternal suffering by making a draw in this winning game

Have you managed to find all the winning moves?
Yes!
Yes Queen not knight!
@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307 are you referring to the underpromtion?
@@verstraetenandre even the knight underpromotion? Good for you
That under promotion by black to a knignt to prevent the fork was something I completely missed!
That underpromotion was a tricky one for all of us
took me more than 5 minutes to solve. in a real game with time running , i would never find it. great puzzle and great presentation
thank you, i am glad you enjoyed it. I don't think I would be able to solve it in a game, especially in a time scramble, I would play Nd6 instantly
Thank you. An interesting problem this is. My instinct for the first move was Na5+. Completely missed the other check move.
I am glad you found it interesting. Yea, Nd8+ is seems quite unnatural at first, getting your knight further away from that black pawn
There is no english word for "Zugzwang"?. Greatest Puzzle i saw a very long time. Thought this position is complete remis.
I don't think it is, but the words is a universal chess term, with the same meaning everywhere

Congrats on finding all the correct moves
I saw up until Ke4 to trap the newly promoted knight, but didn't realise the importance of Ke3 from afar. Very nice puzzle!
I am glad you liked the video and find the puzzle challenging
Never been wrong so many times on the same puzzle
so far, i got many other puzzles prepared to blow your mind
Very nice. I completely didn't see underpromotion to knight drawing game
I am glad you liked it, yea that underpromotion got me too
Increadble stuff. Who find these moves ? Very very few playes.
but this is the beauty of it
3:21 What about Kc4?
white will maintain opposition, Ke5. Nf7, Ne5+, Nf3 is in time to stop the promotion
Crazy stuff
Glad you like it
I must be blind, but after Knight D8, if black plays King B5 (and not C5) I don't see a way of catching up to the black pawn. Can anyone enlighten me?

No way I'm seeing that
at least you are honest about it

What is the point of a puzzle if not to challenge ourselves?
3:13 king c7 and white loses
not really, Nf7 G3, Ng5 G2, Nf3 is in time to stop the promotion
