Don’t buy this expensive Pioneer SatNav! I have the hugely expensive AVIC-z1000 DAB-C. I bought it to ensure my SatNav would route me appropriately for my 7ton 3.5m high 9m long truck. Believe me I’ve read the manual, watched the videos, attempted to connect their support (that was painful…). It tried to take me under a 400 year old 3metre bridge (they suggested it might need updating maybe the original SatNav programming was 401 years old?), up a single track ski slope (in summer but for bold e-bikes small cars and bikes only) and down country lanes. Today it routed me along a farm track through which I couldn’t reverse as this eye-wateringly expensive SATNav failed to protect my truck from trees, branches, and narrow bridges. Also tried to ping me down a track saying “No HGV vehicles”. 😳 I have throughly checked and re-checked the settings I don’t want my truck destroyed! I’m currently checking my legal position since this SatNav is not fit for purpose, it’s hopeless at doing the job it advertises as being worth the best part of a £1,000 premium over alternatives.
