    It is kinda unbelievable now to think the pop culture was like this in the 90's... It's hard to fathom how a band like Nirvana was the biggest band from their decade. People are so lost in their vanities right now. Life was simpler and it was so good.

      It's funny reading.comments about how "every generation says"... Cos music from all generations is good. Except the last 10-20 years of music. You can't call 90% of them musicians. On fact, I there's one out there now that argued that she wasn't a musician bc she doesn't do magic. Someone needs to tell her that mumbling notes isn't singing. And someone needs to tell the rest that a computer isn't an instrument. Real music is made by real musicians playing real instruments.

    They used to play this on the radio constantly back in 1995...loved it then and love it now. Grunge meets power pop. Never forgot it after all these years. I'm glad that youtube has made all the old classics available at the click of a mouse. You'd never hear anything good otherwise.

    For us who lived the 1990's especially listening to Triple J, when Triple J was cool & hip & 1997 was a absolute killer year for Aussie music especially bands from Perth.
    This was our National Anthem to get stoned too.

    Loved growing up in the 1990’s!!!! Best decade!! Dishwalla, Local H, 311, the Refreshments, Cracker, Veruca Salt, Tracy Bonham, Jawbox, Throwing Muses, Hole, Tripping Daisy, Weezer, the Toadies...just to name a few!! Lol

    wicked as track. flashbacks roaming in the head. nostalgic feels and recollections of events are vivid. The theme of it is still quite relevant and still relates for me and to me. immaturity perhaps, but i guess the heart beats and throbs and feels right, if or when it becomes fond of something. It's great.

    Kurt's death left a haunted void in 1994. Alt-rock continued on; it was somewhat spotty but a lot of it was still powerful for me regardless for at least 4 more years.
    K-Rock in New York was my station, and I definitely enjoyed this song tremendous despite knowing nothing else about the band to this very day.
    Yea I fuckin miss the 90s alt rock of my high school days. The two went together perfectly.

      Agreed! I miss 90s alt rock of our high school days. It seemed like it went downhill around '97 & just never recovered. 1996 was ok... Garbage, RATM, & other goodies, but nothing compares to the alt-rock 'golden age' to me between '92-95!!!

      To me, it was 2 years and 8 months to be exact. 1996 was the last great year for alternative especially, but music in general. You still heard the occasional good song after that but they were few and far between.
