Was in the audience of recovery. Did you mean triple J? My teen yrs were spent living with gay dads. Best yrs of my life. Zero filters in my house. Loved every moment. ❤️❤️
This song cracks me up. "Rub me on your CU in the NT and I'll come back again." Sang in a fashion that the normal person or Censors didn't realise what was being said. 🤣🤣👍👍
Same.. first track ever seen from Gurge then I saw Kung Foo Sing on Rage one night.. Seen em' play at many festivals over the 90s.. Back again in November for another round! 2019 represent!
here because my aussie internet friend was trying to blow my american mind at how casual you all treat the word cunt over there. this was on the radio uncut? we'd have had a crap attack over this in the states lol. catchy song, i'd never heard it before.
Omg i heard this song and the gurge for the first time about 6 months ago. REgurgitator have been my favourite band ever since. Their music has been so inspirational :) i only wish that I was born 15 years earlier.
Saw this song live just recently. They introduced it an an Inuit story live, instead of an esk*mo story. I thought it was neat to see them grow like that. :-) Also this song fucking ruled live, the crowd was going nuts too, holy shit it was rad.
There's nothing wrong with saying Eskimo. There are two groups indigenous to Alaska and Siberia, the Inuit and the Yupik. Both fall under the perfectly acceptable title Eskimo.
@@NxDoyle The fact that Eskimo is considered pejorative by the Inuit and Yupik peoples is so widespread as to be mentioned on Wikipedia. I would recommend people looking for a broader perspective to check Wikipedia's sources instead of reading RUclips comments. Sorry. I came back to hear this banger again, and
One of the many things I love about the 'Gurge - they never, ever compromised. When asked by labels to change language choice and make "radio-friendly" songs, they straight up said Fuck Right Off.
I've had this as an .mp3 for 23 years, but I never knew who it was by and I guessed the song was called 'I'm your brother boy'. Anyway I tried to find out what it was but google search couldn't do it based on the lyrics I had. I tried Google Bard, Google's AI, but it couldn't do it based on the lyrics and won't accept an upload. I finally found it using AUDIOTAG which allows uploads. Oh, BLUBBER BOY, by Regurgitator. Fair enough. Stupid video like most of these artist types, but a great song!! 🙂
The original version on Tu Plang is much better but I still have lots of nostalgia for this song. I had a chat room friend that sent me a copy of Tu Plang from Australia and it was the most amazing album I'd ever heard in my life.
@@Loosifah Thus the phrase "you learn something new every day." I did not know that, thank you. I wish their early catalog was digitally available so I could listen to that EP.
@@SonicAlchemy13 full back catalogue is available on Spotify, good sir. My Kiwi mate was blown away when I played Regurgitator (first EP), New and Tu Plang for him, he only knew them for Polyester Girl. I'm from Brisbane, and was a teenager in the 90's, so these guys were a huge part of my life. Just wish Happyland's only album (Quan's side project with Janet English from Spiderbait) and Pangaea (Ben's original band) were available digitally. Really highlights how diverse each member's influence was for he band.
@@Loosifah I choose Google Play as my source for music these days but I would definitely invest in Spotify to listen to Tu Plang and early 'Gurge. I was also an American teenager in the 90's and the closest I got to Aussie music was Silverchair but the day I received Tu Plang and the 1996 Triple J's Hottest 100 in the mail changed my life. Spiderbait's "Buy Me A Pony" was on that Triple J compilation, blew my fucking mind! So cool to hear from someone the same age in the same era who lived it. Cheers!
@@SonicAlchemy139 I know I'm late to the party, but Regurgitator formed a ban called Spiderbait, which also produced gold- search Calypso, F**n Awesome and Buy Me A Pony
All these years later & it’s still one of my favourite songs ever. Ageless & timeless
Most underrated band ever.
Legendary Aussie Band ahead of their time.
Still can't believe they used to play this unedited on triple M and at 9am on Saturday mornings on rage and recovery

I can't believe at 45 years old that I only learned today that this song contained profanity LOL
fkn proper aussie music wont ever die
I love it because it has the dynamic shift and 6/4 time signature so frequently used by the Pixies.
This is one of the first gurge songs I ever heard. Early 90s grit. Came around when I was forging my teen identity.
what the hell happened to you man,,, now you suck

+MrFurrybananas Well you noticed. So yep, someone noticed. :D

@@joegrimes3873 not according to Dylan Lewis' last interview with the 'gurge.
Slipping that into Saturday morning music hits whatever tv show was an interesting move in 94
