I’ve owned a kit from pretty much every company by buying and selling used. At this point what I’ve learned is with high end kits you’re just paying for the hardware and finish you prefer. Unless a kit is mic’d up it’s so hard to really tell a difference imo…if it’s a high end maple kit I don’t care what brand it is, maybe it’s dumb but at the high end level of drums I’m just going off of finish and hardware durability
