I'd disagree that the student's is better, the complete lack of dynamic perspective on the teacher's, and the perfectly solid singular boards per row, makes their dock look unnatural and uninteresting.
@@matrixmushroom2285 there is nothing unnatural about the dock, there are many docks built with singular boards. And the dynamic perspective is just from a different point of view than the student's. Therefore, they are both amazing. Neither is better or worse.

Both drawings look good anyways heres a scary story
Chapter I: The Rumour
The main protagonist of the story is a 10 year old boy named "Kai". In his neighbor hood there was a rumour that in the back alley multiple bodies were found with huge bite marks and there was a monster with short legs, long arms and has a really big head and if you knock on the door with scratches on it then the monster will bite you and start consuming your body.
Chapter II: Bad Bullies
Anyways back to the main story. Kai had 2 bullies their names was "Ash" and "Mark" who were both really fat and was jealous of Kai for being skinny. Kai never told the teachers because they warned him if he told them they would break in his house and kill his entire family so Kai had to deal with the bullying. So one day when Ash and Mark was beating up Kai one of the teachers caught them and they both got suspended for 3 days.
Chapter III: Revenge
After 3 days the bullies came back angrier and afterschool they grabbed Kai. Kai asked "Where are you taking me?" Ash said "You'll see" so they went to the back alley and they tied up Kai to the street light facing the door with scratches. The bullies knocked on the door and hid behind a dumpster. Kai thought "This is the end" and closed his eyes.
Chapter IV: The Beautiful Woman
When the door opened a beautiful woman with long black hair, really pale skin with a black sweater came outside instead of a monster. Kai was confused and ask the woman "Wheres the monster?" she laughed at the question and said "Monster? Thats just a silly rumour-". The bullies overheard this and came out of the dumpster and they tried to untie Kai until they overheard the woman say "except the dead bodies." and the woman started to bite Mark's neck Ash tried to punch the woman but the woman ate Ashes' fingers instead.
Chapter V: Great Escape
While the woman was busy eating the bullies Kai managed to untie the ropes and make his escape. When Kai arrived back home he wanted to call the police but he thought that they wouldn't believe him so he never did.
Moral of the story: Do not judge someone based on their looks.

I’ll be honest, most art teachers, especially the ones that I’ve met, have had no idea what they’re doing. But this one?? They ABSOLUTELY know what they’re doing
Well depends on the art teacher, if it's a poor school then they prob got the job easily, But if it's a good school and the teacher doesnt know what they're doing. Its not the job for them. The art teachers I've had are amazing surprisingly.

Hers a tip that helpt me improve don't draw just with lines. break the the thing that you drawing down to simple shapes
Honestly, the more time you spend drawing the better you get. It's hard to ignore your inner critic but you just have to try to sometimes or it won't even let you try. The more time you spend working on your own skills and less on comparing yourself to others the better you get. When my critic gets at me I think to myself, "I'm not quite where I want to be yet, and that's okay. As I continue to practice, the better I'll get."
I used to draw a lot and was considered pretty good for my age. I was considered one of the artsy kids. Then I got busy and stopped drawing as much for a while. Then when I did draw I was unsatisfied with where my skill was and felt like I was no longer any good as I compared myself to all the other artsy people I knew. Then I decided I wanted to get better. I was determined. I started to draw a lot more. I took a drawing classes in school, I doodled my hands and other things in between classes. The more I did it the more I improved. In one and then two years I have seen massive improvements in my drawings and in my artwork. Practice really does make perfect. Don't give up. You can draw like that if you set your mind to it.

The teacher's drawing was more mature. It looks so realistic and classic. I love the fact that they highlighted the shadows of the sun and the mountain/grass/whatever that is. The student's was more artistic. The bridge looks so neat, along with the tree. Both are amazing artists.

Many work hard at things that truly never matter... people work hard and even to live freely in the end but by bowing down to money and other things of this world, they ignore God himself, the creator who made himself evident in the earth (look at the beautiful child births and families together in happiness, look at the waters, wildlife, etc but also look at the broken families and all that is broken) how could you say there is no God who creates and loves, and no enemy who destroys and breaks and confuses? The thing about God, He has a son, Christ, who did the real work when He was sent to save us from our sins so that we could be truly free, He was beaten and broken down, carrying the penalty of our sins, as one who never did a thing wrong - unlike us... He did the real work and that's what truly matters. We could never truly measure up in our human weakness to be free and have eternal life with Christ so He paid the price we could never pay, he lifted the burden and says “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (That's in Matthew 11:28 NKJV) Jesus spoke that because people (even people who were saved by Christ) were forgetting about what was paid by our savior and instead thought that by works, we are free and saved, similar how others think "if I just did this" "if I just climb this hill then I will be free and it will pay off" but that's a lie and you know it. My point is be free in Christ who gave his life and lifted the burden we could never lift. You don't have to "try so hard and get so far" because literally in the end it doesn't matter but instead we are free because of what Ephesians 2:8 NKJV says - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God," God's grace is what was done by Christ Jesus our Lord, God's holy and perfect son, God's grace is when Christ died and paid the penalty for our sins and defeated death by raising again and so now we have eternal life through him, in life, because He is life and was raised to life, to whom now we are His, a child of God... do you see why the burden was lifted now?
All that I have referenced is from the Bible and I just thought I'd share what this song brought to my mind and how the burden of trying and failing is not an issue for us anymore (that is, for those who accepted Christ as their savior, for how could He lift the burden for those who do not accept?)
Sadly many in the end may say "I tried so hard, and got so far (in the world), but in the end, it never really mattered" because they built foundations on the cracked, crooked and messed up world so in the end when Jesus comes to take what is rightfully his, the rest will be for destruction and fall and the people who build upon this world likewise. Instead put your faith and trust in Christ, then you will have a forever, firm foundation in the Lord and you will fly so much higher than anywhere this world would get you "Isaiah 40:31 NKJV - But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."

Yep… that’s accurate. Art students don’t like copying the teacher. Art is meant to be creative. Asking a student to make an exact replica is like a big “Fuck you” to their hopes and dreams. Hence why they encourage them to draw what they think about a topic. “Draw a dock “ and you get countless results.
I wholeheartedly agree, the key to art is to be creative despite having a fixed objective. But for beginners, mimicking is also a crucial part they have to go through. Such practices can be revised through sketching (as in referencing objects from the real life or in photographs), in order for them to understand the necessary small details and how they are used to form the bigger picture. Like in the video, both the teacher and the student shaded the sky and the docks in similar ways. All that’s left for the students is to apply original elements and voilà.
