  • It's easy to calculate 50:1 fuel to oil ratio in your head. You don't need a calculator, it's that easy. It will perform at its best if the 2 stroke oil ratio is right. Simple calculation for your 2 stroke gas engine premix.
    US
    25:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 5.2 oz. of 2-cycle oil into one gallon of gasoline.
    32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 4 oz. of 2-cycle oil into one gallon of gasoline.
    40:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 3.2 oz. of 2-cycle oil into one gallon of gasoline.
    50:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 2.6 oz. of 2-cycle oil into one gallon of gasoline.
    METRIC
    25:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 40 ml of 2-cycle oil into LITRE of gasoline.
    32:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 31.25 mL of 2-cycle oil into one LITRE of gasoline.
    40:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 25 mL of 2-cycle oil into one LITRE of gasoline.
    50:1 gasoline to oil ratio. Add 20 mL of 2-cycle oil into one LITRE of gasoline.

    Who the hell uses liter, we use gallons. Therefore 128ounces = 1 gallon: 128 oz divided by 50 = 2.56 oz per gallon. To get a 40:1 ratio 128 divided by 40 = 3.2, 32:1 is 128\32 =4 oz!!!!!

    1. Get a small spare gas can for oil and gas mix.
    2. For EACH gallon of gas, add 76.9 ml of oil mix.
    3. Try to get as close to 2.000 (etc.) gallons as possible.
    NOT DOLLARS, on the top display at the gas pump. Look at the bottom display when filling your gas can.

    To make it simple...50:1...50 is the amount of petrol and 1 that's the amount of oil..so in every 50 litres of petrol..you mixed it with a 1000millilitres of oil..you get 1000millilitres by multiplying 50 litres by 2 and then just add a zero to your answer which end up to 1000millilitres..cheers from Australia;-)

      Offcourse, it doesn't matter. Ratio is ratio regardless of the measurement variant. 50:1 is for every 50 gallons of gasoline you mix that with 1 gallon of oil. So if you have 5 gallons of fuel you divide that by 50, = 0.1 gallon of oil. So in the 5 gallons of gasoline you mix 0.1 gallon of oil.

  • @tnuis
    @tnuis Год назад +1

    An even easier method is that if you have a 50:1 ratio you just take the amount of litres of fuel you want to mix and divide that number by 50. The result is your need for oil, in litres. So if you have 5 litres of gasoline and you want to make that a 50:1 ratio with oil you just divide 5 by 50 = 0.1Litres of oil. If you have 15L of fuel divide 15 by 50 = 0.3L of oil.
    The advantage of this method is that it's only 1 mathematical operation and it works for any mixture ratio regardless of the ratio and regardless of it beeing in Litres or Gallons. 100:1 ratio, just divide the amount of fuel you want to mix by 100 and so on😊

    Multiply your fuel liters by 2 and add a 0 that will be your needed oil in ml eg. 12 liters fuel x2 = 24 add 0 you need 240 ml oil

    what if i want to make a small amount like 16 fl oz

  • @barnabyg6808
    @barnabyg6808 6 лет назад +1

    Or you can just do the number of mls/ 50 to get the amount needed
    35000/50=700

      Round that out to 8L x2. Add a zero. You need 160ml of oil.

    I have no need for 55 gal of fuel mix, All i need in the desert is a quart, from time to time, I had it figured to about 11/32" 2cycle oil in a salsa jar, (medium hot, cause i'm a wimpy european) we euros get the Mexican hot and we'll lose our taste buds for a couple of days, not to mention a couple gallons of water (sweat) So when getting salsa across the border, And I don't mean smuggling it, you'll be getting the real stuff, which happens to rhyme with tough, but don't let that fool you, And while you're over in Mexico, DO NOT FORGET TO LOAD UP ON THE BEST BEER ON THIS PLANET, if it comes from Mexico, ya can't go wrong!

      A litre is a simple to understand liquid amount. Why did you not hop on board with Canada in the 70’s to convert to the world metric system instead of sticking with the obsolete system you use. A progressive country but you were asleep during the process.

    • @ricka4386

      Chris Notap in 1975 America was to busy recovering from all the 60's drama( Vietnam war and protests, JFK, MLK assassinations and others, civil rights issues, Watergate scandals, Nuclear arms race, policing the world, Hippies, sexual revolution, Drugs, etc.) to be concerned about getting on board with Canada and the World's metric system. I'm assuming the biggest issues concerning Canada at the time was to convert to the metric's system?!, lol!!!
