Yosemite National Park

Come along with us as we spend 9 days in Yosemite National Park. We drew a 6 day wilderness permit with a Half Dome permit. We go early and spend a day at the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and two in Yosemite Valley. We start our 6 day backpacking trip from Tuolumne Meadows spend the first night at Vogelsang High Sierra Camp-7 miles, second night Merced Lake High Sierra Camp-7.6 miles, 3rd night 1/2 miles short half dome trail head at a nice backpacker camp a ranger told us about -7.5 miles. 4th night stayed at campsite after half dome. 5th night Cathedral Lakes-10 miles. Day 6 - 6 miles to the car.
