This guy’s job is installing these speakers, he makes it look so easy. Took me like 6 hours and the rear tweeters don’t even play sound (and yes I used the harnesses). The sound isn’t that different from the harmon kardon speakers that I previously had. However, if you have the standard speakers, you will tell a great difference. I don’t really want them because of the almost unnoticeable sound difference, but I put so much time into installing them that I don’t think it’s worth the return money. The thing I do like about these is that they are new. My old speakers were 15 years old and half of them made annoying shaking sounds. These are basically just new h/k speakers that are cheaper than h/k speakers.
I have the basic audio system and I hear small sizzle a flat sound and not dynamic. Plastic also vibrates a little do you have a solution against it? I intend to afford the speaker kit for the original sound that I would do myself with your tutorial very well explained. Thank you very much

Hey BAVSOUND does the 2006 coupe have a different kind of door panel in the back? I pulled like crazy in the spot that looked really flimsy in your video and it broke a ton of plastic standoffs that held it together with the bigger panel. I was wondering if you guys have any documented information that the 2006 coupes are slightly different and need the bigger piece taken off completely.
I am in the middle of this mess right now - same issue.. but no broken clips [yet], though i did order spares b/c i fig i will break em on the front door panels [02 M3 coupe BTW]
