Any drone operated in the UK, that weighs over 250grams falls into the licensing requirements as laid out by the CAA. This is then divided into recreational use or commercial use, along with the category of which the drone complies too, this also dictates the pilot training and licensing requirements along with how the drone can be operated in differing environments and terrains.
Thanks for your input, this page is a helpful bookmark also., www.caa.co.uk/drones/rules-and-categories-of-drone-flying/introduction-to-drone-flying-and-the-uk-rules/ Our operator is fully qualified and is actually also a qualified aircraft pilot also.
Thank you! Great Video. Question - when I click on the Satellite view to the left of the screen it doesn't show an aerial map. Should I be downloaded something here. It tracks my flight on the screen, but I would like an aerial map of the property I'm flying over. Any help greatly appreciated.

I purchased the EVO 2 dual 640R (US FLIR BOSON) vERSION 1 for $3200. Little did I know the difference about the sensor and the 640T chinese sensor. I have seen the comparison video of each sensor and seems the FLIR is somewhat better for roofing and solar inspections but you have to pay for the software. the Evo 2 640T v2 you can use the free IRPC tool for reports. What in your opinion would be the better? Just need some personal advice
Hi thanks for your comment, I have to admit, we weren't aware there was another sensor. I believe they were all made by Infiray? We will ask the question.
Hi David, you can find out more about the legalities here www.caa.co.uk/drones/rules-and-categories-of-drone-flying/introduction-to-drone-flying-and-the-uk-rules/
lol Some people show off their guitar collection, or their sneaker collection... maybe their drone collection. This guy thinks it's cool to show off his guns.
