I think he see Chastain constantly running over people, even at road courses, even blatantly forcing a yellow, and getting away with it, benefiting from it. There's no way that's not playing into his thinking. Sadly. NASCAR doesn't need two Chastains in these next gen tanks..
Suarez should have been parked for that stunt.... but for these guys to jump all over Suarez and yet maintain their love affair with Bubba, who is always a loose canon week after week is laughable. SMH
agreed about Chastain and Suarez, particularly Chastain imo is nearing DBag status.... hearing rumors that the house of cards known as Trackhouse is going to crumble
Coming from the guy (Daniel suarez) who literally wrecked Kyle Busch on the back stretch in the dual this year and blamed it on someone pushing him when the car behind was 4 feet from his bumper! He's been fired twice from 2 of the biggest teams and has only 1 win......on a ROAD COURSE. Had the best car at the world 600 last year and wrecked it driving over his head trying to get back up front when he had plenty of time to do so. He acts as if he's always right and knows it all and it comes off that way. He's in a great car with a great team and again he's screwing it up because let's be honest there are way better drivers to put in that car besides him. He's mid pack at best talent wise
He acknowledged his mistake to Busch, he just wasnt willing to say 5 hail Mary's and lay himself prone in front of KB, and Kyle thought he was due more humility.
Not saying Suarez didn’t deserve it. But the guy is a pretty consistently respectful racer. Think the incident at COTA on pit road was just a heat of the moment type deal. NASCAR needs to do something to keep these guys from beating and banging trying to fight for 25th on these road courses.
@@petemitchell6788 “Heat of the moment” is an idiom and has nothing to do with a length of time. But no, the entire mid pack was driving like clowns. Suarez is just getting singled out because it happened on pit road. Not taking up for him. He deserves the fine. Just calling it like it is.
This has to be consistent! Whether its Ty Gibbs, Bubba, Suarez, Chastain or Harvick, Chase Elliott. Some guys we want to hate on a little more than others but cool down lap is ok, pit road is not!
I’m gonna need TJ to list these numerous moments he’s seen Suarez be aggressive because the guy isn’t a saint by any means, but he’s not just plowing guys over on a consistent basis, not that I’ve seen. When it does happen, it’s usually in retaliation. Seems like the kinda guy that races others the way they race him.
@@stevena55 I’d love you to enlighten me, Stevie. Because I see a driver with only 22 DNFs due to crashes in his career, and 12 of those are on superspeedways, mostly out of his influence or control. You have no factual basis to backup what you’re saying, so prove me wrong.

He also accepts responsibility for his mistakes, and all cup drivers screw up and affect others with their mistakes. Why does nobody mention that without Keslowski bringing out the caution before the string of ending cautious, that he was on track to contend for the win because he took care of his equipment and raced smart conserving fuel? That finish would have been a good one, like a proper chess match instead of the demolition derby we ended up with.
Isn’t there already a NASCAR rule if you are the cause of the caution you are not eligible to be the lucky dog? Example if Ross was a lap down and say he was the only car a lap down and he sat there till the caution came out, he was the cause of the caution.. no lucky dog.

You don't realize it on TV but in most cases these guys are still going at least 60mph and after a long ass race especially one like that all those guys wanna do is loosen those belts up as soon as they can. There needs to be a monumental penalty for any avoidable contact made after the checkered flag PERIOD.

I go to local dirt and asphalt racing and every feature race there’s a fist fight, y’all know that. Let ‘em fight.😅I’d definitely would want Suarez to win vs ANY Hendricks team and as usual NASCAR caved to Hendricks racing appeal. Why? Because Hendricks runs the show.

People are emotional beings. It’s natural. All these well thought out, sitting around a table thoughts are not what a driver is thinking in the moment.
True, I get this. But on the other hand these guys need to have enough mental restraint to know when and where it's appropriate. They go through so many physical and mental exams just to be on the track. Emotionally they all need to know where the line is drawn and how to control that. Like the guys said, do it on the track, get out and talk or fight. Perfectly ok with both of those options. But Suarez's team was telling him on radio,"Think about these actions, we can deal with it later." He should have been able to reel in those emotions enough to see the official and know it wasn't the time or place.
