    ㆍYou can use starch syrup or corn syrup, grain syrup instead of oligosaccharides syrup.
    ㆍSugar amount is adjustable.
    ㆍYou can use whipped cream instead of milk.
    ㆍBefore using the milk, make it little warm.

      @@Deadbome_official That syrup, oligosaccharides syrup, is not something I have heard of, so I am not certain it would be available in our regular grocery stores. I am in the United States; other countries may be just like us in this matter. Starch syrup or grain syrup might be in the bakery aisle of our regular grocery stores. I am not sure because I do not bake a lot. But corn syrup is definitely in our regular grocery stores. Corn is a staple food in the United States and corn is made into both a cooking oil and a sweet syrup, both are used in many things.

      You can substitute honey, agave, maple syrup, brown rice syrup - or if in the UK, Golden Syrup.

    졸인 캬라멜이 무조건 주걱에서 뚝뚝뚝 떨어질 때까지 오래 졸이는 게 포인트네요. 처음엔 인내심이 부족해 주르륵 흐를 정도로 졸였다가 칼질 안되는 캬라멜이 되서 실패하고, 두번째는 잘 졸여서 칼질해 포장했습니다.

    I finally made this using vanilla oat milk and it turned out delicious! Definitely won’t be buying caramel from the store anymore.

    I tried this and it came out perfect. I made mine thinner. Why? Because I cut them into about thumb size pieces. I loved how "chewy" they were. I put a piece of pecan on one side and flipped it over and put a piece of pecan on the other side. I dipped them in chocolate and set them on wax paper. I made my own turtles. With what I had on hand, I made about 60. My niece and her husband stopped up and tried them and thought they were fantastic. So I sent 2 dozen home with them. Same when my sister came over. That left me a about 8 haha. I am making these as part of our Christmas candy tins we make up for people as gifts.

    Сварила. Получилось вкусно. Мягкие, тянучие. Но допустила критическую ошибку😞 массу вылила на обычный пергамент. Ириска с бумагой слиплись намертво. Долго отдирала и ругала себя за непредусмотрительность... На мой вкус, масла можно поменьше. В следующий раз 20г возьму.

    Ingredients and other info if you didn't catch it
    Ingredients:
    25 grams of Oligosaccharide syrup (big word, you can also use starch syrup or grain syrup)
    25 grams of sugar, any kind will do, white, brown, casting, etc (not icing or refined sugar)
    1 gram of salt
    25 grams of unsalted butter
    200 mL of milk
    Another 45 grams of sugar
    Servings per times of cooking: 6 per time

    Guys,I tried to make it with sugar syrup.I had doubts but it turned out to be best and I'll give you one more advice that if you have caramel powder you can add it in milk it will taste the best.😄

      It influences taste and texture at the same time.
      It can be replaced with corn syrup, starch syrup, or grain syrup etc.

    out of curiosity, where do you get oilgosaccharide syrup from and am I allowed to use normal maple syrup?

      oilgosaccharide syrup is a Korean syrup, you might however, find them in Asian supermarkets though. But you can use corn syrup as an alternative, I'm not too sure on maple syrup.

      Oilgosaccharide Syrup is a Korean product, and a lower sugar version of the ghastly HFCS (high fructose corn syrup - belovéd of America and responsible for ½ the diabetes problems.)
