I have finished my M.S General Surgery with DNB General surgery. I do have 2 years of experience in general surgery post M.S. Also I have completed an advanced fellowship in cosmetic surgery. what would I be applicable for? Specialist or Consultant. Also is my fellowship degree valid in dubai?

Sir, I have been doing medical residency in Turkey for the last three years, I started residency immediately after I finished my internship. do this 3 years of residency experience count as a job experience, or should it be a non-training job experience only?
Dr. residency is considered as experience. u need to give the experience certificate from the hospital.

Dgo will considered as GP. But u will be posted in OG department only. No general duties.
Work pattern will be like PG duties. Night and day shift reporting to specialists.
2 options available to become specialists.
Either clear mrcog or Dnb and Complete your 3 experience in India
Or come to UAE as gp in OG department and do mrcog and upgrade to specialist.

Doc. Don’t worry. U r eligible for GP. Apply for gp licence through agency or through dha website.

Dr. After 2 yrs, u can work as gp here. But u can’t do Pg and work simultaneously. For pg, u need to apply separately.

Apply for DHA exam and dataflow through consultancy. They may charge u minimal amount. Or u can apply by yourself in www.dha.gov.ae and www.dataflowgroup.com
Then apply job through hospital website, LinkedIn,dubai careers,indeed.

Dr. U can do residency in UAE and gain 2 yrs experience here and Then apply for gp in dubai. Or else gain 2 yrs experiences in your preferred country and come as gp here. Or else do Post graduation and come as specialist here.

Dr. U can do by yourself by visiting www.dha.gov.ae or by getting help from consultancy for applying Dha exam. U may need to pay service charge and exam fees. But for job try to apply directly in hospital website,linked in,indeed.

For clarification, did u finished MS Opthalmology? Do u have degree certificate for Ms ophthalmology?
No dont have the degree of MS Ophthalmology but i do have intermediate exam cirtificate (held during training) plus experience cirtificate of 4 years training from.the gov hospital
To become special in Opthalmology, u must have Dnb Opthalmology or Ms Opthalmology.
U can get GP licence to work in any department including Opthal.

I guess Very less. Opthal are one person department. That is one or two Opthalmologist per hospital. But if get selected in ophthalmology gp,then luck. But try in ward/er/clinic gp.

Doc. U can work as gp in er/ward. But can’t work as gp in path. Kindly look for other gcc countries. Path scope is very less in dubai.

It’s a wide range. It depends on whether r u applying for GP/specialist. Clinic or hospitals.
Reputed clinic or sharing base clinic.
Indian or western degree. Indian experience or western working experience. Diploma or md/Ms/Mch degree. Partime or full time working. Indian or western or Arab management. Fresher or experienced.
Gp scale from 8k aed to 25k aed
Specialist scale 20k aed to 40k aed.
So salaries are based on multiple factors and tailor made.
Do we still need to appear in DHA or HAAD exam if we are exempted from PRES exam ireland & got registered with irish medical council ?
Dr. Those who cleared PRES are exempted from DHA and HAAD exam as per PQR.

U need 3 yrs post md experience for applying.
Mrcp will add value to your cv for selection.
Pay scale is wide range 20k to 40k aed.
U said 3 years post pg experience. I guess it's 2 years excluding 1 year internship

For general practitioners, u need 2 yrs post internship clinical experience.
For Specialist, u need 3 yrs post PG experience.

Ms/Dnb Orthopedic is enough. But 3 years post Pg required to apply for licence. Fellowship will increase the chance of getting job.
