- Underexposed is a self-shot and produced series by Pivot Cycles athlete Brice Shirbach dedicated to showcasing trail advocacy and stewardship while exploring a variety of trails in a variety of places. Join Brice as he explores the personal motivations behind the effort that goes into mountain bike advocacy while sampling the trails they work so hard for.
Costa Rica might be small, but it already boasts some legitimately world class trails with more undoubtedly on the way as mountain biking continues to raise eyebrows and gain momentum in this Central American paradise.

Was just in CR with my wife. Stayed in La Fortuna, Bagaces, and Playa Flamingo. I wondered about trail development, given the country's laws around conservation I figured trail networks would be sparse. Still want to go back with my bike though!

What's the best places for Surfing & MTB same day sessions?
Rafiki or Buen Camino for sure. Rafiki is 30 minutes from the coast and they actually have a beach lodge as well, with access to a private beach with decent waves. Buen Camino is about 45 minutes from a legendary surf spot in CR called Hermosa Beach
@@bricycles1389 Sweet, I've been to Hermosa! -There's so many surf spots with coastal mountain ranges (worldwide) where MTB hasn't been tapped into yet!
