I mean to be fair, Elmo's Letter Adventure forces you to constantly hold one button on your thumb the whole time, and it really makes your thumb numb, I can see Soldier getting PTSD from that.
Or maybe he discovered when Vinesauce corrupted it, creating some horrific abominations.

Look Iam not trying to shit on military it is amazing what those guys can do, but just because you are a navy seal doesent qualify you to talk about finances/psychology/dating/education and literally 90% of other things I see them talking about it really doesent paint special forces in good colors when most of the time they are talking about shit they have absolutely no idea about.

Nonsense, how would he have gotten the big army ball of bravery? Or have those warstories with Salty Pete, Pepperpot Pete, Iron Eye, Salsa Pete, and Peter-Pepperpants? Or buy his own plane ticket to Germany to kill nazis after the war ended? Only a true American soldier would have accomplished such a feat.

Resident evil if your looking for horror with a small chance of fighting back, evil within is also a good one for more psychological horror as well.
As much as i like resident evil, i heard silent hill is just a better horror game
I dont think Evil Within is that scary. It has a really good start and the mystery surrounding the plot had me hooked, but I personally wasnt scared of the game most of the time. The only time I got anxious was in the... I think her name was Laura?, bossfight because you cant just straight up kill her. You have to turn her on fire multiple times using barrels and furnaces and will most likely take you multiple tries before you're familiar enough with the stage to kill her.
i would rather play games where you can't fight back because its more interesting so i will rather stick with outlast and scp containment breach thanks for the recommendation tho

Outlast was good when it came to actual scares, but for me the most psychological horror game was Neverending Nightmares. Legit the whole time you were in it you never felt at peace. One level was too long but eventually the levels got to a point where I just NOPED right out of my chair and straight out of my room. It was THAT bad.
But the WORST horror game that plays on my Childhood fears is Subnautica. I have extreme thalassophobia and the ocean friggin' terrifies me! To have giant alien monsters in it kills me inside every time I play it. When I'm not crafting stuff in my base I'm either swimming for oxygen, finding fragments, or building vehicles so I can progress the story cause my old save was deleted automatically.

The scariest has to be this one game called Team Fortress 2. Jokes aside, sometimes when its silent and I get backstabbed or headshot, The loud crit sound scares the crap outta me

(Personally, my favorite horror games include The Suffering 1 and Ties That Bind, Manhunt, Dead Space 1 and 2, The Evil Within 1 and 2, Resident Evil 7, Dead by Daylight, etc. I'd love to play more of the Silent Hill and Fatal Frame games, and I have Alien: Isolation: honestly need to work up the nerve to continue playing it lol.)

I don’t know if I have a number one favorite, but SCP Containment Breach is one of the top ten. The graphics are kind of wonky, but the core gameplay and concept is really solid. SCP 173 still provides a lot of good scares, too.

Doki Doki is one of the more, mind fuckery type horror games. I think that type of horror is more effective than a lot of cheap jumpscare types.
My favorite Horror Game has to be *Silent Hill.* But *Slender:The Arrival* is a great choice too.

@@cameronratliff305 Its not scary at all. It had story potential at some points, but its mostly an action shooter with a lame story. It never reaches the peek unsettleness of having to board the Ishimura in DS2.

my own personal favorite will always probably be haunting ground, it's an over looked classic. i love the ps2 graphics, the mechanics of it, the story and the characters. also just the chase sequences can get extreamly panic enducing at times because of the amazing ost.

The best horror game I've ever played in my life is Until Dawn honestly in my opinion nothing can beat it. The story is absolutely fantastic. & The Heartbeating events when it comes to Choices that mean Life or Death for the characters is just amazing.

Scariest games as a kid had to be one of those old math helpers and speak n spell toys. Parents got me a few of those actually. Those creepy robotic voices would suddenly turn on at night out of nowhere like some kind of demon was possessing them. Then couple that with parent's drunk laughter and people falling over inside and outside... It was like the entire house was being ripped apart by something worse than the devil.

1. Dead space: that game got me from time to time.
2. Minecraft: that game has a creepy or at least a earie back round music from its sound track (now its playing in my head again),
Creepers they do there job pretty well if given the opportunity, the nether dimension its back round music is kinda off putting (especially in sertin nether biomes).
3. Layers of fear: that dudes house is a mess.
4. Resident evil 7: jack baker (sort of)
Elvalin that little brat got me good.
5. Subnatica: had to stay clear of the reaper Laviathan, a ghost Laviathan
Caught me and my brother off guard.

I am perfectly aware that doom isn’t horror in the traditional sense, but it does have horror elements. Out all the games in the franchise, I think doom 3 is the closest thing to resemble horror in traditional sense. I have also played RE VII Biohazard

I just started playing those again. Currently on the first one, then I'm going to work through 2 and Infinite in order.
Adventures with Barbie: ocean discovery. Seriously. There's a scenario where barbie gets deep into the ocean, and the music gets really eerie and creepy. Then there's these weird creatures which come out from holes in the ground - tentacles, weird looking whales. Absolute terrified me as my big sister played with it
