As a baker myself, I think the majority of you commenting about hygiene are wrong. Surfaces look clean and he was wiping the spatula with what seems to be a clean kitchen towel. If people are talking about the walls and surrounding areas, the majority of bakeries will look like that after big amounts of icing, cream, fondants, food dyes etc have been in the room. It’s easier than you think to get food dye up the wall. And as much as you try to clean it sometimes it just won’t come back up.

Even if the cake looks beautiful, the preparation is unhygienic and dirty. He does not use glove, face mask and he is using huge paint brush in the begining. Wiping of spatula on the table top and with dirty cloth is no no for me. This is not my cake. Btw is he an employee of Century Ply ?
