KODAK SAV2050 35mm Slide Projector

This short video covers the basic operation of the Kodak S-AV 2050 35mm slide projector. Includes sorting and loading slides, ensuring the slide carousel in it's home position and ready for loading, recovery of the carousel and slides in the event of a malfunction and spare lamp change procedure as well as some common issues around internal lenses shifting in transit.
Also applicable to the S-AV 2000 and S-AV 1000 models. These models do not offer all the features of the SAV2050 but are very similar in operation.

I have an AV 1010 which will not advance. I think the solenoid that moves the cogs together is not working. Any ideas please?

I'd check the solenoid first, further from there I'm not sure. Check the mechanism is well lubricated.
