What I've noticed is that Precision and PJ sound both serious but Jazz sounds straight up evil

Also PJ sounds the best of them all with no tone

I mean you can recognize them, but the differences are far smaller than some people want you to believe.

the jazz was #2 but I cannot tell the p from the pj bass but if I were to guess I would say that the #1 was the p and the #3 was the pj bass

The P and PJ is the same since you are only using the front pickup, but I could easily tell the J was #2, but could not distinguish the P and PJ

I didn’t know you were changing mid sequence…which is what confused me. Only thing I KNEW was a p was 2nd round #2. … but I was like “that can’t be the same bass as the other tone”

I did this to make the test more fun and difficult 😉

Precision indovinato.

I could just knew #2 was a j bass, just from owning one, 1 and 3 were difficult

Which pickups are you using on the PJ and J? It's a poor comparison
