This turned out really great. I like how you took the front paws and articulated them more. Maybe just for fun you could make some red armor paw covers like on the Battlecat 200x series. Still turned out awesome, great job!!!
Pretty impressive how well it came out using emery wheel and stones (way safer than router bits). Never thought of using the heat like that. Good lesson!
This is really cool the only question I have just to hide the articulation a little ...is there space or is the ball joint small enough to cut into the leg have the ball rest in the hollow area by dremeling from ankle to shin just below the the 2 yellow stripes or do same way at the ankle but use the smaller wrist joints that will be easier to hide ... but really dig the poses you can get good job Bro of He
I like your videos, you do awesome customizing videos but not sure I would want to do this to my battle cat. I have a vintage panthor but some of the flocking is missing, would i be able to reflock this and what do you suggest I use thanks 😊
You could take a hot knife or wood burning tool to lightly carve in some hair detail on sides of the ball joints if you’re feeling bold. Might help them blend into the sculpt. That said, fantastic idea and execution.
a better and cheaper way to do it would be to use the hands or foot pegs from 1/6 scale Hot Toys or knock off 1/6 figures. You can get them in many different sizes for both male and female. You can easily match the color by soaking them in synthetic dye. The pegs themselves are cheap and the dye is cheap (use the 40% off coupon at Hobby Lobby and the green dye would just be a few bucks). The smaller ball joints would easily fit up into the leg and be more hidden from view than the TMNT pegs.
Love the fix, but when comparing height wish you'd had the heads in the exact same pose. Great job, thanks for sharing the idea, that's why I love your channel - creativity, inventiveness and adult skills at play.
Great fix and tutorial! I have the tools, but I'm really nervous about giving this a try as I'll most likely mess it up. I wish the designers at Mattel could have just included the joint in the front ankles at least in the first place. Would the tooling have been that much more expensive? I would have been ok at paying a little bit more for Battle Cat with the articulated ankles. Makes a huge difference for poseability. Otherwise its a great representation of He-man's trusty companion!
The customizing master knocks out another great work. Good job! I think it looks fine, maybe just some matching paint to be perfect. We shouldn't have to do this though. Such a terrible design decision by Mattel...maybe the worst ever.
you might want try using figma joints you buy lots of them in different colors on ebay at different sizes they take a while to show becuase there shipped from china but it will look better having smaller ball hing joints
😱ho mon dieu mais qu'est-ce qu'il fait il coupe les pattes 😭😭ouf il est améliorer super idée dommage pour la tortue ninja sacrifié mais a juste titre 😍 very cool
Expensive fix😬. Although, I noticed that those are two different variant Battle Cats. The one you put articulation on has darker stripes than the other.
This was definitely cool to see. I like the new version. Just a shame people have to do this because Mattel was too lazy to do it during original production.
Yes it does, I've opened many battle cats now, and yes, they usually have one loose leg and one tight one, but it's not always the same leg. The new 2 pack the legs all felt about the same.
Actually great idea but to me it looks real awful. But I guess there´s no other way. Anyways, that version of battle cat has two major problems. The motionless paws and that silly looking, too small head.

Great ideas, thanks.
Always wanted articulating battlecat
The great news is this summer a new Battle cat is coming out with lots of articulation.
He-Bro:Let's get this helmet on right.
Proceeds to set it back on the same way lol.
LOL
That came out very well! Excellent job!
Thank you very much! I had help, someone else already did it before me, and told me what figures to use and sent me pictures of their work.

Thank you. Yes, I like it tooooooo much.

Yes, me tooooooooo - They should have just put it in there.
nice work man!
Thanks

Thanks for watching :)
Nicely done. It blows my mind that they didn’t give him and Panthor ankle articulation. Such a missed opportunity.
Yes, Agreed.
It's funny cause it's like why add any articulation if you can't actually pose the thing differently. Did no one at Mattel even ask the question?
Dang! What dedication! Great job...
Thanks
That's so cool 💃🕺 I've fixed my wobbly heads with the glue trick you did on a previous video works a treat thankyou 😁
Happy to help!
Looks great! I wonder if there is a way to add some texture to the ball so it looks like fur?
Someone could, but I have no plans too.
That is amazing! I used green stuff to make claws on his front feet.
That's a great idea!
You must use a more little ball joints. They must be into the leg and hand above 1/3 each.
Good idea
I think it looks cool and makes things more interesting.
Thanks, great perspective

@@HeBroTV no problem gundam wing sty7le models also sell joint s . the figma joint look for one that ask for what color you want
@@teppest111 Thanks
I'll just wait for the Masterverse line... hope they'll give us a better Battle Cat...
I hope so tooooooo
Yeah but the origins one isn't too bad. My 80's one is a statue but I still love it.
You really did a good job on that
Thank you, lucky for me I had help, someone else already did it before me, and told me what figures to use and sent me pictures of their work.
Do Panthor next 😁
I wonder what fig can "donate" joints to Panthor him being violet and all...
Came out looking good
Thank you
I disagree with the back legs. They definitely need those articulation.
I may go back and do it.
I´m wait for the NEW Battlecat of REVELATION, because if the 7 inches figures have 30 points of articulation that Battlecat can be awesome!!!
Yes, Meeeeeee tooooooooooooo. I hope it's epic!!!!
Expensive fix😬. Although, I noticed that those are two different variant Battle Cats. The one you put articulation on has darker stripes than the other.
Check out the link in description, I actually got a good deal on the donor figure.
This was definitely cool to see. I like the new version. Just a shame people have to do this because Mattel was too lazy to do it during original production.
Thanks, and yes agree.
Do you have a table or booth at Powercon where you show off your customized toys?
No, I've never been to any comic/toy con.
Wondering if I should take my 3 out the box
At least one of them
Now he can high five He-man
If you put on boiled water, you can then cut it better
Thank you for the tip.
Very cool .... I always wish they had made a cringer version. Although battle cat was awesome, cringer was a lot of fun too !
I hope they make a good Cringer (Want to use it my classics)
Maybe just an alt head that pops on and off would be cool going fwd for Mattel to make em interchangeable
R.I.P. MIKE 😔 HOWEVER GOOD UPGRADE MY FRIEND.

Para que su articulacion funcione amigo...
Tenia que usar la misma que la de la rodilla...
No utilizar una union de bola...
He ahi el error!!!
Gracias por la idea.
Nice review sir! I have a question. Does your battle cat’s 2 legs(front right leg and back left leg)loose? Please let me know?
Yes it does, I've opened many battle cats now, and yes, they usually have one loose leg and one tight one, but it's not always the same leg. The new 2 pack the legs all felt about the same.
Video starts @3:30
Yep first part just opening.
Looks great
Thanks
cool, but you should have used smaller joints imo.
Thanks
Can you explain more about the glue? You put glue in both parts?
Just put a bunch in the leg hole only, the foot is not glued. (I made sure it was inline with the joint above before the glue dried.)
Ahhh dammat! You made a better toy! Now I don't want my battlecat, I want YOU'RE Battlecat! :D
Who knows I may toss him on eBay in the near future. (He could be yours)
Actually great idea but to me it looks real awful. But I guess there´s no other way.
Anyways, that version of battle cat has two major problems. The motionless paws and that silly looking, too small head.
I have seen others use smaller joints with success.
Great job bro
Thank you so much 😀
wish they did this to begin with
Yes, same here
Great job!
Thanks!
You would be a great dentist
LOL
I imagine you could do the same with panthor and Marvel Legends copperhead🤔
The funny thing is I'm not planning to do it for Panthor, just Battle cat will get the treatment.

It is Fantastic, but to ruin a TmNT toy just for this it's too much for me. I'd like we could find these kind of pieces separately
Yeah I agree
that is how it should have been
Stop moving your camera.
LOL, yep hard to film and build at the same time. (My camera girl doesn't always help)
That looks horrible, swollen cankles much ? 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Can’t wait to see your perfection bub.
