  • Dr. Christian Schulz-Quach, Assistant Professor and Clinician Educator, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and Staff Psychiatrist, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Department of Supportive Care, Samantha (Sam) Scime, executive member of the SGDc group, a clinical oncology nurse specialist and educator, and Margo Kennedy, SGDc lead and clinical oncology social worker, will discuss How digital avatars can address sexual and gender diversity in cancer care: the Princess Margaret experience.
    They’ll explain how their group has developed digital avatars representing a wide range of sexual orientations and gender identities, and how these digital avatars can enhance healthcare providers’ understanding and skill in providing inclusive and effective cancer care.
