    Man, crazy to think how Rachel went from a 499 MCAT, retook and got a 511, and now she’s here. Literally so motivating for me as I retake the MCAT next month. It can be so demoralizing to get these scores up but Rachel has shown us that with hard work and dedication, anything possible. Thank you Rachel 🙏🏼🙏🏼 so happy to follow along on your journey and be inspired by you!

    • @RachelSouthard
      @RachelSouthard  2 года назад +89

      You can 1000% do it. The fact that you are retaking it and didn’t give up says a lot about your character. Best of luck. You got this. ❤️

    • @MedSchoolGirl
      @MedSchoolGirl 2 года назад +19

      Good luck zoey!! I’m a retaker for the mcat aswell 😬, getting my second score back in 4 days. Also if u don’t mind I’m going to act like Rachel’s comment was to me too because my mom thought it was me being lazy that made me need to retake and this is a lot better of way to say it 😭😅😂.
      U can do this!!! Just don’t give up on the last month! But also what helped me a lot was taking intentional break days and not feeling guilty about it. That was probably what brought me down a lot and added to my stress, thinking I wasn’t doing enough, but u just gotta do ur best.

    Seeing this video was a very proud moment of somebody I don’t know in person but dude I’m proud of you Rachel. So great to see you smiling and see your work pay off. Really really happy for you.

    Your vid popped up on my suggestions I guess because I just took step 2 yesterday. I love everything you said about your scores not defining you but balancing that with how important the score really is in your application to residency. Also, love the fact that you did not share your score because you do not want other people to compare themselves to you. Glad you are happy! Have an amazing time on rotations this year! From your fellow med student (MS IV).

    The starting clips of you working,
    Are always going to give me motivation specially in these 2 months when I am going to give the post graduate entrance exam .
    While as doctors we tell others to stay away from screens and blue light it gets really hard to use them while prep for whole day, so long hours. But it all comes down to a great result which land you in mixed emotions of, " what I did it?? " And "Yes, I did it ".
    Best of luck for rotations Rachel, you are gonna have a lot of fun and learn
