I was there , favourite day of all time
I was there,front row dead centre. My friend and I camped out from the night before. A security guard kept checking on us all night and gave us one of those silver foil blanket things. Best day of my life.

I was there. That’s was such an awesome concert. Made it even better that Van Halen played also. I was stationed in England at the time and I was getting ready to leave back to the States. I still talk about this concert to this day.

I was there about a quater in from the right, qauter way down, scorching hot in direct sunlight, took an hour to get to the toilets and back, van halen were disapointing, bj were brilliant, felt like a pig in a pen tho
I was the kid Sammy Hagar tried to pull onstage but security pulled me away! I thought VH were great personally, although it was my first proper concert experience, and I was only 13.
Feel like he didn't realise how much of a classic it was. Needs the gravel voice, screaming it 😊

Yeah, I know he's a member too... There was no rise in volume as when he came on as the screens already had him on when he ran on-unlike when the rest of the band came on. If you'd been there for all 3 gigs like I was you'd have known that. Instead of learning something about the gigs you've tried to make some silly point that that jbj is a member of his own band. I’m quirky I like 87-97 mainly. I’ve only seen them live in 2011, 2011, and 2016. And the best was 2011 with Richie. Nothing beats having that same lineup as they did when they were tight and he didn’t conserve his voice

Not sure what you're getting at, this is exactly the same as the album. There's no skipped beat, just triplets.
@@djjazzyjeff1232 in original recording that last modulated chorus starts on beat 4 of the previous verse. Maybe I'm not using music lingo the right way, but that's what I meant. Listen to the original, then listen to this and you'll understand. ✌️

@@brudbbb1 I did that before I commented to make sure I wasn’t nuts, they’re exactly the same. Both chop off the 4, it’s a 3 beat measure, in both versions. What you said is correct but they’re both the same there’s no difference.
@@braslavbradic261 they identical I think it’s because he starts singing the phrase slightly later that’s throwing you, probably so he could slip a breath in there before the key-change. But I’d you were to chart out the music it’d be identical. Also the pyro cue was slightly late, also doesn’t help but in those days bands didn’t play to click tracks, and pyro was a lot more of a “I hope this works! *closed eyes and presses button*” sort of thing than it is today.
