That visual effect comes accompanied with new sounds. Overall makes the game look much better and honestly makes it better than most other games where naval combat is really janky and doesn’t make sense. This one is especially shining now that shells seem to cause much less to no damage if it’s a destroyer on a battleship-this game’s biggest problem was really that battleships could be overwhelmed by destroyer shells which was a bit unorthodox.
