Been riding with mine for a couple months and I absolutely love them. Shifter foot is getting a nice worn look. Now, if Alpinestars would make jackets in TALL sizes I'd be a happy camper.
Riding in my old neighborhood. Casually clicked on this video then saw the road by my old house in Gladwyne on Mill Creek. I moved from Philly to Minnesota years ago, but still know those roads. Oh, and the Monty's are great boots, by the way, although I wish they had a stiffer sole.
I’ve got the originals. I commute pretty much daily on the bike, and I just leave ‘em on as my work shoes - they are that comfy. Honestly, they are my favorite light duty MC boots, ever. The leather uppers have just been super durable. I’m now on my third set of soles, so that ought to tell you something. I think the zipper is a nice addition; I’m not so sure about the semi-moc styling; I prefer an unadorned upper. Anyway, if the quality of the V2s is the same as the original, you can’t go wrong with ‘em.
Nice boots Brandon, bought dainese air flow recently, might replace my tcx boots with these in a couple months. I picked up a used thruxton from Quaker city motorsports in Philly a few months ago, I was told the previous owner works for revzilla and thought it might be you haha. But clearly you have yours with you and it's a 900, mine is 1200 wondering who the owner was, anyway, it's a cool bike loving every second on it. Cheers.
I need a recommendation. Right now I'm leaning towards adding either the TCX Hero WP boot or the BMW PureShifter to my collection (I buy a lot of gear). I want a boot that is not perforated or geared towards summer as I'll use this in the colder months of the year. Even though this is mostly for commuting I'd like to get the most protection possible without going a full height boot. Would a mid-height ADV style boot provide more protection than the Hero or PureShifter?
Looks like they have copied a Redwing moc or Thorogood hard toe moc boot which I ride in. Perhaps these have more protection in the ankle and heal department. Greetings from Essex, England 🏴
Was immediately disappointed to see that these expensive 'Italian' boots are not even made in Europe like the previous model. They're made in India. The quality issue then became immediately evident as they ripped just trying them on. I contacted Alpinestars and they want me to pay for the shipping so they can repair the boots which will take around a month in total. You're supposed to get what you pay for when you buy an expensive product from a premium brand but I've learned the hard way that Alpinestars is nothing more than a name. They're not premium either in their quality of product or quality of care. I wouldn't recommend either the product or the company.
Except they aren't "work" boots which are designed completely different for completely different environment's So that's an odd comparison, actually that's not even a comparison to even try to make.
@@stephenbarabas6286 Upon reflection I have to agree with you. I just returned from the local store that sells work shoes and looked at their selection. Just like everything else, shoes have gone up and there were some that were priced around $250, so I stand corrected.

I wish AStars would go back to their old zippers and velcro.
Can’t go wrong with a triumph either

Is that willow grove? There's some charming little town streets to knock around on out there. Good review!
what are the metal wire rods in your engine fins?
Gr8 review. Ride safe, god bless u.
How do they compared to the Alpinestars Jam Air
They look nice 👍.
Awesome
these look very similar to my Triumph branded Stoke boots although a bit shorter. Curious if Alpinestars is the supplier. Great boots FWIW.
Brandon what jacket are you wearing?👍

@@RevZilla Thanksss 🙌

What vest is that?
Awesome looking boot, sadly yet another shoe not available in a wide.
I'm not really a fan of medial zippers, but I can see their benefits and own plenty.🤷

$240 USD + tax, I guess not a terrible price but about twice what a similar pare of work shoes cost locally.

Shame theyre so hideous. It's the white sole, who approved that?
They look like a Moc style boot. The sole is common on that style. It was popularized by Red Wing.
If you're a hipster and ride a vintage bike.... gtfoh
What jacket is that?
