Orthodox Christian Saint prays with a frog

St. Paisios the Athonite (1924-1994) prays with a frog at night. A story retold by the late Metropolitan Amfilohije (Radović) of Montenegro of Blessed memory (1938-2020). This is an exemplary story of how the holiness of the Saints extends to the nature around them. Even the creatures around them repent, that is, turns towards God in a most concrete way. Among the ancient ascetics we have examples of lions and bears becoming tame as lambs due to the intense radiation of peace which the Holy Spirit emits through the purified hearts of the Saints.
