I binged this the day it dropped on Netflix and, grabe, it will make you crave for Filipino food! Sobrang nakaka-proud ‘tong series na ‘to. I hope there will be a second season.
I literally just finished this a while ago. I don't watch a lot of Filipino series, pero this one ha --- ang ganda! Hindi try-hard, hindi "pa-indie." Perfect cast, great OST. 10/10
Im so glad that finally Netflix decided to produce a Filipino series showcasing our food culture. Bravo and congrats to the casts and production staff. Greetings from Switzerland!
Best Filipino series Ive watched! Kudos to Alex wow, unfortunately Sam didnt delivered, he's very OA even Piolo's acting is just meh, the supporting actors did better.
Tried to watch the 1st episode because of the unique storyline and I stopped after like 25minutes or so. There are so many unnecessary “F” words which made me hard to watch especially with my kid being around and hearing it.
Maganda ang movie kaya lang na over acting ang F words ni Sam Milby . Sana naman sa susunod na Filipino Netflix , medyo bawasan ang bad words kasi its not our culture . Let us promote good values
Why does he only speak English? Did he not grow up in the Philippines? Is it normal to have upper-class bosses who barely speak the local languages in the Philippines? Does everybody understand English as in the series? To the point all of the staff can understand him?
Ang nakapangit lang sa series nito is yung sobrang cussing, plus lahat nalang mga cast, may time para manigarilyo. Para kasing kinu-culture pa ang paninigarilyo kaysa sa food. Yikes. Parang pino-promote pa ang maling gawain. In short, pa-woke ang tema ng palabas nato
Kase ganun po talaga pag working in the kitchen . I've seen alot of restaurant na pag break ng tao nila dito sa USA they smoke. That's how they release their stress.
As a chef, the food they served is trash. First ep in. All are trash. Plating is pure basic Ratio of that kalabasa to 1 oyster is so bad. Fine dining but feels below average.
@@raphaelledesma9393 sadly it’s obvious na walang chef dun. Even if u think about it. Ang pretentious ng food. 1 oyster tapos lunod sa kalabasa? Not to mention thats not even pinoy dish. Next one is risotto that isnt cooked with shallots and chicken stock. The chicken stock was just water and there’s chicken hahahah. You need to make it as a broth first. Like cook the stock for 2hrs at least to release ALL flavours of the chicken. I can tell u more but i might sound weird

I love the series, very informative of Filipino cuisine! I’m just wondering why chefs and the rest are all smoking?
I've seen alot of chefs smoking on their break to release their stress!

What do you mean OA si Sam. Mas magaling ka sa director?
For me all of them did really well !
@@fridahorme5698 truth hurts 😂 he fuckin ruined d movie. Wrong casting!
Grabe! Isang upuan ko lang yung series. No restroom break. Ganun sya kaganda. Must watch!

Awh oh well. Sana pala meron chef on board to at least make the food look nice. As a non-chef, I thought they looked nice. 😅
