I was lucky back in February we had nice weather and I got my IH 454 out with my one bottom 16 inch Ferguson plow out and did my gardens and I am glade I did the weather is on and off rain and sun since
@Schafferfarms yeah it looked like you were barely rolling over any dirt. But hey what ever works for you I guess. I run mine just as Dame deep as I can get it. But I also run alot bigger tractor than you. Good luck.

Ya got to take advantage of the weather while ya can! I still can’t get back in there yet to disc it up !!
I bottom plow just as deep as I can get it usually about 12 to 16 inches deep. It's better to plow it deeper for a good seed bed.
Working with the cornell soil extensions they recommend a 6-8” seed bed for corn

12 to 16 inches is to deep
@staceygay6400 no it's not. My disc run 24 inch cutter disc so it works well for preparing seed beds for corn, beans, and peanuts.
Way too muddy for plowing.
Agreed but we have rain everyday in the forecast and it takes a week of sun to dry!!
It's to muddy to be plowing and the deeper you plow ground the better it better it is
Plowing 3 inches deep lol pitiful that a 66 hp tractor won't do better
Farmer LOL
