Note that in the series they refer to him as Hitokiri Battosai, or man slayer as its translated, and not as a Samurai.

No, he was not on par with his master after finishing the Ama Kakeru Ryu no Hirameki, as he said Kenshin skills were perfect (when they did Kuzuryusen vs Kuzuryuzen), if the Skills were the same, the one with more power will win.... and here is the point where Hiko DESTROYS kenshin, maybe they have the same skill, but kenshin is too weak, in the manga the AKRnH put too much strain on Kenshin body cuz he doesnt have the body to use it.
Remember that every Seijuro Hiko knows the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki... if we see a battle of both using that Hiko would kill (if using a normal sword) kenshin.

How Kyo is pretty much stundere and can't tell Yuya that he loves her, but instead says that "He owns her so much for her actions". (which eventually they do have their kiss and in the end of the manga they are married). In the anime there is none of that. Kyo 100% hates Yuya. Also the manga is known for it great art and action, but the anime's art is really bad.

Samurai without a lord is not really a samurai. The whole base for samurai that they work for some lord. And whole samurai term doesn't apply to periords after the end of Edo, since the shogonate system was gone after that.
Samurai were really just military during the Bakumatsu. Kenshin doesn't have a daimyo as he was recruited as a Kihetai. He sided with the Imperialist. Generally still a samurai but specifically a hitokiri.

Kenshin and Gintoki are more or less the same.They were alone most of the time of their life living in regret. They were legendary warriors who lost everything. They both stopped killing people and started to live like normal people but fate bought them to fight again for the sake of the ones they love and care and want to protect.

Yet he still managed to surpass god-like speed to master the ultimate technique of Hiten Mitsurugi, TO THE POINT that the force and speed of the attack is so great that even if it were to miss or be parried, it would force the air away and create a small but powerful vacuum that pulls the opponent back towards him for a second strike. This is him fighting with a self imposed handicap. He'd only be more powerful with a normal blade.

Ronin are Samurai, just without a lord.
Samurai without a lord is not really a samurai. The whole base for samurai that they work for some lord. And whole samurai term doesn't apply to periords after the end of Edo, since the shogonate system was gone after that.

They were legendary warriors who lost everything. They both stopped killing people and started to live like normal people but fate bought them to fight again for the sake of the ones they love and care and want to protect.

Yet he still managed to surpass god-like speed to master the ultimate technique of Hiten Mitsurugi, TO THE POINT that the force and speed of the attack is so great that even if it were to miss or be parried, it would force the air away and create a small but powerful vacuum that pulls the opponent back towards him for a second strike. This is him fighting with a self imposed handicap. He'd only be more powerful with a normal blade.
