- Ever wonder if you should stay overnight at an airport especially if you land late and car rental is not available… this is how we spent our time at Fort Lauderdale International Airport
I once did an overnighter at an airport in Vietnam and it was legit terrifying. There were around 5 other passengers who had the same idea and I'm sure we all regretted our decision because they actually turned off the lights and all you'd hear every hour or so was the heavy thud of the security guard's boots and the ominous jangle of his keys from some point in the darkness. It was a horror movie waiting to happen. 😬😱☠️

I definitely would have used the wheelchairs, as there’s plenty to go around overnight. I am sure you all had a bit of fun to pass the time as well ( good for you guys)! The only time I stayed overnight was at MCO because we didn’t want to spend the money on a hotel for just a few hours. The funny thing is while sleeping on the floor I woke up a mouse crawling on my leg. There are tons of field mice in airports!Would we do it again? Ofcourse😂. Thanks for the Vid!
Thank you for sharing that. Luckily we didn’t see any field mice. And our choice of Baggage Claim area was quite peaceful except for when they came around to clean. Your MCO story is shocking and we wonder how we will react. Like you, we would stay overnight at an airport again!
I have a couple of times. I definitely didn’t get a lot of sleep!
Same here. I think it’s a good idea if you have to but it definitely limits sleep (in our case we decided not to sleep at all). But because we love airports. We ended up really enjoying our time at FLL

Very true but then again we did this as an experience. Especially after Orlando and Dubai where we spent all nights, we wanted to see if we still love overnight at Airports
