the highest gpa you can truly get is a 4.0 this is the school district using an inflated gpa or a weighted gpa to say a 6.5

For those wondering CCSD is on a 5.0 scale (100 = 5.0, 92 = 4.2, 88 = 3.8 etc) from there AP classes are a 1.0 curve with honors being a 0.5 curve. The bonus is likely a teacher allowing extra credit above 5.0 base in transcript or some pass-fail magic I’ve not seen quite yet.
That’s what is tradition tho, unsure if basic is same

It depends on how many weighted classes (IB + AP) are offered - unfortunately, some schools offer more than others. It also depends on when you can take them. So, max GPAs vary from school to school
