Welcome to Thailand. My wife and I are wheels up from Vegas on Nov 18. Enjoy your time and there are many nice places to live at a decent price in Bangkok. If you have an6 questions don’t hesitate to ask. We will be there till January and then probably head back in June.

Paul did you have a smooth time going through immigration with your DTV? Did you need to show your Airbnb reservation? My wife signed a letter inviting me to spend the time for two months at her home. Should I show this up front or just wait for the officer to ask for it?

They won’t ask for it at immigration. They will only ask for it during the DYV process. I would use her address as you place of residence.

I also didn’t submit any paper work for my first Airbnb. I just put the address in one of the address lines when requested. I hope this helps

With the DTV it’s actually really smooth. Be sure to have a copy of it handy or a screenshot of it on your phone for immigration at Bangkok.
