This band should have been way bigger than they were. They achieved great status on their homeland continent, but they should have been bigger here in the US...favorite band of alltime for this Wisconsin guy.
When Tim Booth came offstage after this show, they had to give him oxygen. He worked his butt off that night, under difficult circumstances. Loads of punters at that show had to abandon their cars and walk three or four miles in freezing weather. Which just makes it even more amazing.
Brings back all the memories of my time staying in Manchester back in 1991/1992. It was a wonderful time! Thank you James and thank you people of Manchester. I love you!

oh man - this video brings back so many memories. i remember when they showed that video in the early 90s in a music show in austria about the rave scene in manchester. that crowd is just awesome. i had the 7" single from that song - on the B-side was that live version. i don't know where it ended - but great to get that memories back when i watch that video again here. thanks sooo much for uploading.

this is gemex manchester i think i has it on vynal this but never seen footage. this is amazing i miss 90s music so much where nowadays do you get a response in from a gig. You know you made it when everyone is singing your songs. seen james a couple of times before they split and the last time was on the last tour where they played at exeter. also 5 night stand with coldplay when they haddent even released a single and kent but this is best because of crowd response

i agree with 'hxsw' it was filmed at GMEX in Manchester.....i seen them 3 times in 1 week that year...Middlesbrough Town Hall then Newcastle Mayfair then the GMEX....their best songs were 'What For' or 'How Was It For You'....
