We see a new set of cymbals in your future 👀 Thanks for watching! 🥁🥁🥁
Love them
🔥🔥🔥
Whoo! 🥁🥁
Nick is simply the BEST at what he does.
We seriously love you, man!
💩
Sabian has just upped their game by a country mile. These cymbals sound INCREDIBLE! Really looking to check out those low bell hats!
Yeah the low bell hats sounded the best to me. Reminds me of my Meinl byzance traditional thin hats.
@@andyham6094 They are indeed quite similar, as are the HHX Legacies, but I feel like the Meinls have a little more high crack to them, whereas the Sabians seem to have a smoother range. Just a taste thing though, and I really like the sound of them both!
Fell in love with the 18” high bell. I could listen to Nick play all day. Just a great technical player
These sound & look incredible - congratulations, SABIAN!
Thorough demo. I like those low bell hats.
Those are the most musical cymbals I've ever heared!!!
Ooh I was hyped when I heard about these! They aren’t what I had expected at all, but I quite like them. Having high and low bell versions of each one is a fun idea.
I don't know which I love more. The philosophy behind the cymbals or that Gretsch Brooklyn bass drum!!
Another masterful demonstration by Nick. These cymbals rock hard, too
💩
So...very...cool! I enjoyed every second of this. I love Sweetwater.💜☺👍
Very nice. The strength of Sabian, so I think, that these Cymbals Sounds quietly exact the same as played loud. Seems like the Bridge between AAX and HHX. Controled Sound for Miking/Recording.
I also play AAX/HHX Sabian cymbals for about 7-8 years and I love them!
@5:24 - that ride/hi-hat combination/syncopation sounds so freaking amazing, especially in slow tempo!
Very jazzy, almost funky….
I love it!
Greetings from Germany
Nick is a great guy. Absolutely love everything about every cymbal and hi hats
Nick you are killing us with your amazing skills of drums and cymbals 😂 😂
Impressive new line and very impressive demo. 🤘
Nick, you are the best at what you do! You made all the cymbals sound their best. I'm a bit more partial to the low bell hats and ride, but I'd also have to have both of those 18's because they really compliment each other very well. Thanks and Blessings!
💩
This guys playing can make anyth8ng sound good, but they are beautiful sounding cymbals for sure
love the hi hat sound...amazing
So good. I love how the two 18’s can work together because the pitch goes from bright to dark just because of the bell. Honestly cant wait to see if other sizes are added later on. A 20” crash would be beautiful. Just really nice clean sounds with pleasant warmth and definition.
These sound super good! If I ever had these, I'd pick either the Low or High Bell hats, High Bell 18" and High bell 22". But they all sound great!
Nice Nick nice your an amazing drummer 👍🥁🤟
Awesome great. Drummer. 👍👍great show
They all sound good, but the hi-bell hats are the absolute keeper. Can't wait to try these for hard bop and big band jazz!
I’ll take one of each, thanks!
Thanks for the video
Reminds me of some old Zildjans I had. They were the same way. No “ride” or “crash” just big cymbal and less big cymbal.
one of the best........amazing cymbals.....
I want a 16” set of hats, but with the low bell top and a high bell bottom.
Great product 👍👍👍
I like that snare thing at 7:19!
Those 22"" sounds great!
How did you mic the kick? What mic/head did you use? Great playing btw!❤️
Yes they are all the same sizes except for the bells but never mentioned the different weights they come in!
I know this video is not about Nick, but I’d just like to point out, he’s such a good communicator. Great vid. Interested in these!! And that’s coming from a guy who owns 75+ cymbals and not one Sabian. So there’s that. I feel like these blend together very well cymbal to cymbal. At least that feels like their intent.
I love the wood brushes
Yeah...Sound very cool...Would be great when you need to play at lower volumes.
Love these
So, what is the different of high bell 🔔🎐 and low 🔅 bell 🔔🎐?
What a drummer.
Thanks for the good review of the anthology cymbals, really looking forward on eventually choosing the right one for me.
Btw I love that term you use, it's my favourite *kwahh* 😂😂😂
Guys wake up. New cymbal review!
Best Hats i've ever heard
6:19 Nick really liked that one lol
Besides the bell size, it doesn't sound that much of a difference from the legacy line when you crash it or maybe it's just me 🤷🏽♂️
I was not a big fan of the Sabian products, until the HHX Complex.
4:40 love that groove
That definition needs to be on a T-Shirt! 😏
Nicks trademark, “Super fun to play!”
Working very hard to gets to these
The Casey Kasem of drumming.
Who?
@Freeze he was the voice of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and he was also a famous Disc jockey/radio man! Check him out! (He passed in about 2014)
@@xsgpercussion: I must have been under a rock, because I didn’t not know that he passed in 2014! I used to dig his American Top 40 in the ‘80s!
You just aged yourself(and so did I 😃)
Always a pleasure. Now, not to take the wind out of
These fine cymbals, but when might Sweetwater start carrying Dream Cymbals?
I have a few Dreams...Nice cymbals at a great price point!("price point" what am I a salesman! 😃)
So they just say the bell is high or low instead of ride or crash? Certainly you wouldn't want a all purpose ride with a small bell? Sound great but the concept is a bit lost on me. I feel most cymbals can be used in any genre already. I use my paiste signature hats for everything....
I'm with ya...I need a pronounced bell sound on my "ride".
I would chose low hats, high 18 and 22
Appears a bit like paragon's new versions
That hat sounds like a better version of my groove hats.
You didn't say if the 22's are rides or crash
Low bell 18”
They remind me of Neil Peart’s Paragon line
😎👍💓🇺🇸🥁🔊🎼 NICK!!!
👍👍👍👍😁
There is some Paragon vibes in these cymbals
DAMN BEST
6:51
the mega bell hihats lmao
These cymbals sound and look amazing!!!! But I gotta say:
PLEASE MAKE BIGGER CYMBALS!!! I cannot believe they only have the hi-hats in 14" size. They sound okay but imagine those guys in 16" SHEEEESHHHH
Also imagine that crash/ride in 24", that would be insane. If y'all worship drummers agree with me please spread the word so Sabian considers this!
15s my fav hat size.
Zildjian A Series or Nothing bro !!! Just ask Max Roach, how we do !!!
Clean...Controlled...Musical...Sabian
- Nonpaid Spokesperson
Try to mix your vocals lower!!!!
The cymbals sound great for sure. But in my opinion, I don’t think this new series of cymbals gives players any new reason to play Sabian that they didn’t have before. Like what drummer is out there like “Oh wow cymbals without the labels. Exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
With that said I think the biggest advantage of these cymbals is that they allow players to hear how much of a difference the bell shape makes. But, the whole anthology thing is a little silly.
All about the sound. They sound great, no?
@@larrytate1657 sure, they sound good. Not any better than previous models though and just don’t care for the marketing
