I dont think they distribute the lines, no matter who writes the song. They probably write it and then send it to their producers so that they can distribute the lines. I know that Svt does it like that and we all know that ggs on average have even less creative control than bgs, so

I thought I was tripping when I was listening to the album because I hardly heard Dahyun.😭😭 I even asked myself if she even participated in this album and well now looking at the line distribution, it all makes sense.
That's exactly what I was thinking!! I literally could barely hear her and it's so unfair considering she contributes so much to the group and in my (biased) opinion she does contribute more than a good amount of the members. Not to bring any members down but when we look at how many songs she's written, it's more than most. I think it's somewhere around 15-20 now??

Honestly this album distribution couldve been good if Jeongyeon and Dahyun had gotten more lines. Other than that i think its okay. To be honest, ive kinda given up when it comes to hoping for Jeongyeon to get more lines. It feels as if the company has forgotten that shes the lead vocalist. tbh i love nayeon with my whole heart but im tired of her being treated as a main vocalist by producers. She is a very good vocalist, but THIS amount of lines is too much for her, she can have sore throat or other stuff, bc she cant catch a break during performances! Ah this point it's not even laughable for Dahyun. She is just too nice doesn't even get lines on her songs. The saddest part is all could be balanced if they give out a few of Nayeon's line to the others. Before you claim that Nayeon is needed for those lines remember most of Twice songs have line repeats and the reason Nayeon ends up with more is because on average she repeats the main chorus or pre-chorus twice. But I guess they have gotten used to the treatment. Poor Dubu is just riding the wave hoping not to sink at the bottom of the sea. Hopefully one of these days she will have a solo song she gets to sing on her own without having to give it all out.

Recently Dahyun has been getting less and less lines and I can barely even find her in any of the songs this album. I don't really believe in "fair" distributions because what's fair is giving the best vocalists and rappers the most lines and giving the worst ones the least, most fans think fair = equal but that's not true. It makes sense to give the worst vocalists less lines and the best ones the most lines in songs, but JYP really sucks at distributing here 😭. Personally I think the line distribution should be something like Jihyo > Nayeon/Jeongyeon > Chaeyoung/Dahyun > Mina/Tzuyu/Sana > Momo. The reason I put Chae and Dahyun higher is because they're both rappers and personally I believe rappers should have the most lines after the main and sometimes lead vocalists. I acknowledge Momo as a rapper (a great one too!), but I don't think she should get as many lines as the other members because she shines in her dancing so it's better to give her some raps and some vocal lines, but especially give her screen time because she is the best at dancing. Also, if we're being honest. Twice isn't a group concentrated on rapping so there won't always be much space for a Momo rap and she's the worst vocalist in the group (not that she sucks but I mean she literally is the least developed 😭), so it would make sense she doesn't get as many lines. Overall looking at Twice's line distribution it's not so terrible considering that kpop groups almost never have fair distributions. I'm still disappointed to see Dahyun so low as well as the big difference of lines between Nayeon and Jihyo with the rest of the group but in the end it's just lines and we can't do much about it.

Ah this point it's not even laughable for Dahyun. She is just too nice doesn't even get lines on her songs. The saddest part is all could be balanced if they give out a few of Nayeon's line to the others. Before you claim that Nayeon is needed for those lines remember most of Twice songs have line repeats and the reason Nayeon ends up with more is because on average she repeats the main chorus or pre-chorus twice. But I guess they have gotten used to the treatment. Poor Dubu is just riding the wave hoping not to sink at the bottom of the sea. Hopefully one of these days she will have a solo song she gets to sing on her own without having to give it all out.

Recently Dahyun has been getting less and less lines and I can barely even find her in any of the songs this album. I don't really believe in "fair" distributions because what's fair is giving the best vocalists and rappers the most lines and giving the worst ones the least, most fans think fair = equal but that's not true. It makes sense to give the worst vocalists less lines and the best ones the most lines in songs, but JYP really sucks at distributing here 😭. Personally I think the line distribution should be something like Jihyo > Nayeon/Jeongyeon > Chaeyoung/Dahyun > Mina/Tzuyu/Sana > Momo. The reason I put Chae and Dahyun higher is because they're both rappers and personally I believe rappers should have the most lines after the main and sometimes lead vocalists. I acknowledge Momo as a rapper (a great one too!), but I don't think she should get as many lines as the other members because she shines in her dancing so it's better to give her some raps and some vocal lines, but especially give her screen time because she is the best at dancing. Also, if we're being honest. Twice isn't a group concentrated on rapping so there won't always be much space for a Momo rap and she's the worst vocalist in the group (not that she sucks but I mean she literally is the least developed 😭), so it would make sense she doesn't get as many lines. Overall looking at Twice's line distribution it's not so terrible considering that kpop groups almost never have fair distributions. I'm still disappointed to see Dahyun so low as well as the big difference of lines between Nayeon and Jihyo with the rest of the group but in the end it's just lines and we can't do much about it.
