At least Jeongyeon is 5th instead of 6th in the corrected version. Still, just 5th place isnt good enough for a lead vocalist 😭
every song had a line or two that i felt would have suited her so well, but the producers just gave it to nayeon or jihyo. if the producers had just given her one of their multiple chorus lines per song the distributions would be so much more even for the entire group
I think it's better to support & stream their songs instead of caring so much about their distribution. I don't think this is what TWICE want to see/read that fans are always obsessed with how much lines they had etc, I bet they would be disappointed if they find this out
she's the 2nd best singer in the group after jihyo but for some reason their producers or jype just dont like her voice much. fans used to justify it before by saying her voice doesn't suit cute songs (wrong too) but post-cute songs its still the same

I’m seeing a trend where Sana and Mina are getting more lines as well, which proves that the producers prefer more bright, lighter voices. Basically vocal tone > technique.
It's not Nayeon's fault, she sings what they tell her to sing, the ones who should blame it is the company or whoever did that, not the artist.
It is already known that Nayeon's voice adapts to any style that is why she always has more lines

@@dxaalpacaI do admit that Sana's vocal techniques are definitely not it but at the same time she's honestly one of the members who's generally quite stable in live performances, (some of the example are on their Up No More and Celebrate live performance) oh on second thought, almost all of Twice are stable but anyway again her vocal techniques are bad and quiet damaging for her throat, but "worse" is an exaggeration, all Twice members are not bad at singing, let's just say some of them (including Sana) are not vocally trained enough.

Eh, this distribution was kind of expected tbh. I think that the producers distribute lines based on vocal tone > technique, which is why Nayeon, Mina and Sana are more favoured compared to Jihyo, Jeongyeon, Tzuyu + rap line.
Although I do agree that Nayeon is getting a lot more lines, I think her voice suits Twice’s sound and concept the best. Which is why even the members who write songs almost always give Nayeon a lot of parts + high notes.
Ah, I love saying this all the time. In fact, some producers (who right now do not remember their names) revealed that when lines are distributed the tone of voice and vocal technique of the members is taken into account. And if I remember correctly, once the girls also revealed that when they write a song they usually distribute the lines.
I think it's just some songs. And of course, the other producers will also have a say in it @@godyuju.

Yeah, we cant do anything anymore 😭😭 , i feel so bad for Jihyo not being treated as a main vocalist she's really starting to lose her position, I can't believe Nayeon keeps being first place and everyone is sick of hearing her voice and having most lines in every comeback and jyp can barely stop giving her this many lines and also poor jeongyeon is literally getting lines of what a sub vocalist usually sings, this is really messed up can the company ever realise their heads and let the other members shine and give them more amount of lines
I've seen alot of irrational comments talking about vocal technique like a pro but in reality is that u guys probably don't even know how vocal tier actually works overall since u guys are always blindly watching those yt "coaches" tier which cannot even be deemed as official.
All in all i can only tell u that, being a good vocalist does not only determine or just revolving around technique alone itself there are still many other factors to consider & then let's not forget that TWICE is a group that mainly focus on a brighter song.
Nayeon, Sana are mainly being utilised more because of their bright tonal.
Jihyo, Jeongyeon both of them have a darker tone even though their voice are more powerful than Nayeon but in the actual fact their voices would fit rock type of song more than TWICE song itself.
Lastly, Mina have a very soft voice that fits in ballad which we alr knew.
In music industry it's all about who fit which part best, the main & lead vocalists will be partaking a far more challenging verses/parts but that doesn't mean that they will give them alot of lines.
Also before every producer/compose distribute the part, every single member will actually have to sing all of their song atleast once which then after that the composer/producer would decide who fits which part best, once it's done they'll start to extract their voice out in a demo version, then the member would have to sing another round but this time only their own recorded parts in the studio & if everything is ok, then it'll then be made as official.
(This procedure does not just apply to TWICE but also in every other groups as well)
"TWICE is made of 9, if there isn't 9, there is none" this is what TWICE said so imagine the disappointment as they watched their fans getting obsessed with the amount of lines they get instead of enjoy what they carved for us, a masterpiece

Everyone's seems to be complaining about Nayeon's lines, I think it's okay cus her tone is high, which she can get highnotes and adlibs, for Jeongyeon, since she got a lower and sharper tone(Seungyeon+Seunghee CLC?), she can maintain a long highnote but, yeah, her pitch is not high enough(which Sana has) and Sana, Mina also has a comfortable range to make ppl seems relaxed during she sings while Jeongyeon's one seems more energizing?(sorry so bad english). Well ofc I still want more line for Jeongyeon(maybe take 32.2 secs of Nayeon lines to Jeongyeon and I wont complain)

@@singingwhale977 Yes, in essence I agree with what the original comment said that Nayeon gets more lines because her vocal tone suits the songs better. What I was complaining about was how they seemed to imply that stronger tone meant longer notes and softer timbre meant you could reach higher notes. But in reality the notes you hit and the ability to sustain them has more to do with your vocal technique rather than your natural voice. It’s why Jeongyeon despite having a “darker” timbre (in reality her timbre is quite bright too) she can reach higher notes than the rest of Twice. Similarly, Nayeon despite having a super bright timbre has the best lower register in twice
@@xeroxsaw1303 First of all, holding a note is about breath management/control which is also needed for vocal technique to develop, and also Natural voice playes a HUGE role in what notes you can access, Jihyo maybe a better vocalist then Nayeon but regarding tessitura Nayeon and Sana sits the highest in TWICE. and No Jeongyeon doesn't have the highest note in twice, that goes too Nayeon and her whistle note in Rainbow. this also goes with low notes, it seems that Nayeon has the best low notes so thats great for her, she may not have the lowest note but she has the quality, and for high notes she has the highest but not the best mostly beacuse did not sing that note live.
So…Jihyo stopped being the main vocalist and is now Nayeon?

JIHYO always get chorus only while NAYEON get the beginning, pre-chorus, chorus, ad-lib and bridge. This feel so weird since JIHYO is the real and only MAIN VOCAL, but now JYPE are forgetting their official position and try to make all song like NAYEON solo.
Nayeon's average is about 37 seconds while Dahyun's average is not even 10 seconds😭

今回は日本語アルバムCelebrateの時と同じくらいTzuyuが良かった。
Nayeonが一番多くても問題ないがTWICEのコンセプトなど決まって無いのだから爽やかな明るい曲はNayeonでクールで力強い曲はJihyoやJeongyeonをmain vocalにした方が音色が変わって楽しめる。
SanaはK-POPアイドル全体の中でも歌唱力が良くありません。そんなSanaが歌割り多いならTzuyu、Dahyun、Momoにも順番に多く歌割り与えてあげるべきです。そしてChaeyoungはどんな曲にでも合うような声をしてて上手です。
Sanaは自然に高音出せると言う人いルけど、例えばCrazy stupid loveの高音を他の人と比べると発声の仕方に問題ある。子供が舌の奥側に力入れて声を張り上げるように耳障りが痛い。Sanaが高音が得意としたとして、なぜ高音以外も多く歌うのですか？chorusもその他の目立つパートもSanaが歌ってるのはおかしい。

Tzuyu and Chaeyoung are my bias line. I'm Stan OT9 and Love all members, but I need talk about this... I do not like the fact that Sana and Mina are having more lines than Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon. IK, they actually are support vocals but they are not working like that. I'm still happy with Tzuyu BC she got lines at last song and One Park but she its still a Sub-vocal and visual, anyways Im happy for her. But... Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon, they are Main rapper and Lead Vocalist, they should have more lines and I also hate the fact that Jihyo didnt got a first place at this album, bro she's the main vocalist, she didnt got at least just one. With Nayeon its obvioulsly but she its still a nice singer and I Love her, the problem its JYP distribution and the producers work. They are recently giving Sana and Mina more lines but them are just subvocals, i'm not hating them BC I'm still loving all members. I miss twice first eras, Jeongyeon usted to shine more and now cause the Hiatus her lines are decreasing a lot.
