When you have the pics or videos of strictly wonder woman your lighting effect is really good to mimic the prototype pics. But tbh I just opened her and I noticed the skin complexion of mine has poor shading and skin complexion is off from what I saw in the pics. Mine is to fair / white compared to prototype. I can see the difference even within your video between the video of both of you vs just W.W. overall 8/10 but definitely missing some lustre for the price point.. 👍
Great review! Mine had some paint defect on the sword arm with the paint pilling off.. (contacted xm and they would do a replacement).. The difference with the portraits for me is definitely noticeable.. Heard xm will be investigating the issues and do a replacement.. I absolutely love this dc 1/6 line by xm. I have Batman Rebirth on order.. Hopefully they would release the other bat fam like Batgirl, Batwoman, Robin and Nightwing for this 1/6 line. Darksied is looking dope though, so tempted to get him but he's pricey for a 1/6.. :/
I am really looking forward to getting my XM WW as it will be my first piece from the company. If I am happy with it could see going for Supergirl, Mera, and Jessica Cruz in the future

Great review and cool piece. I’m a little put off by 2 things though: first the face sculpt looks a little off to me? Cheek-bones and eyes I think... not sure, could be different in hand maybe... and second, the skin looks super glossy which really strikes me as an odd choice by XM. Maybe it’s less pronounced in hand? Still the overall sculpt and pose is nice.
Thee may be slight changes to the overall face shape, but they are minor. This is a 1/6 scale statue, so in hand, we're talking fractions of millimetres of difference. For me, the non-helmet portrait is nice, but the helmet portrait has definite room for improvement. The skin is coloured resin vs fully painted on the prototype. So, it's more glossy than the original, but again, it's not too bad in hand.
I have that piece it’s beautiful n I didn’t even want it just got it to complete TRINITY!!! Love it thought unhelmted for me n yeah that lasso is a pain!!! Lol 🙌
The omnis definitely come in way faster than I can keep up reading them, lol. I have read quite a few, and some I have read in other formats, but I like to have the omni for the shelf.
I like the concept, you do get a sense of hovering with it. I think they tweaked the face (for the better) since I saw it at NYCC...but, I haven't seen a production piece in person.
Tremendous paint job by xm. U Need to keep the camera zoomed in on the statue the whole time . While it spins. Out of this entire video there’s only like 2 seconds of close ups . Look ur obviously a very handsome man but we are here to see the statue not u . In closing I’d give this statue a B. I think the 1/6 Superman for the same price is way way better

wow, face and paint look extremely different from the prototypes shown in different events last year. not necessarily bad but I do not remember such a pronounced difference in 1/4 pieces from XM
I wouldn't say there is an extreme difference with the non-helmet head...the main difference is that the proto was fully painted, and the production uses coloured resin with only painted shading. Overall shape is very close. And like you say, this is not bad, just some differences. The helmet head, though...there is a significant difference there, and I believe XM will be investigating with the factory on that one.

I like it, what you say in the paint isnt represented on the shots your showing of her to me she looks cool and i like the paint being pronounced but hey i dont have it in person so you know more then me.lol i like her though how much was she? Shes obviously smaller
Her nose and cheeks are a little pale, but I have learned that is NOT paint, it's coloured translucent resin. They added painted shading in some areas...so, it creates a different look from what I saw on the fully painted prototype at NYCC. Not bad, just different.
You need to show more close-ups especially when you talk about the helmeted head and it's problems. I can't see what you're talking about. Also, you talk too much. This could have been a five minute review. Hope that helps.

Darkseid was very cool. It's closer in size to a 1/5 scale piece than 1/6.

Yes, this is a great little piece. And with the replacement heads that they sent later on, it looks even better.
How many omnis have you read? Looks like a pretty big library. I dig these 1/6 XM pieces but pricey.
