    Just imagine you trained so hard for an event and waited 4 years to take part in a major championship. Then a false start. It is just too CRUEL. The rule before 2010 is so much better as it gives one chance to the athletes. From an audience perspective, whoever the best 3 should win for the day.

    • @siddharthsharma5124
      @siddharthsharma5124 Год назад

      @@Rav01508 Misleading & wrong info! Use facts & logic instead of the feed given to you. The Singaporean media RUclips channel 'entertainment mediacorp' ( whose videos of this race are now blocked for India, absolute Shithousery 🤣, i know) non asian commentators CLEARLY & SPECIFICALLY mentioned that the pressure sensor gets triggered when more pressure is exerted on the sensor that is during EXTENSION of knee & NOT flexion( in flexion more pressure is exerted & born on the hip muscle of the athlete). He even corrected the other commentator in this regard. Others in this thread have also further expanded on this fact.
      I am so glad you brought Rule number 16.8, according to Technical Rule 16.8, any athlete responsible for a false start shall be disqualified by the starter.Also, a note to the rule says "when one or more athletes make a false start, others are inclined to follow and ... any athlete who does so has also made a false start. The starter should warn or disqualify only such athletes or athletes who, in their opinion, were responsible for the false start."
      Rule says you cannot break the gun, it comes on the screen (if false started). What they did not realise was, the Chinese runner (Wu Yanni) has clearly done it (false started), naturally when the first girl goes out before the gun, others will also get out.
      Adille Sumariwalla also said that the matter would be taken up at the highest level to ensure that this kind of thing does not happen again.
      "They (judges) committed a mistake, they have accepted it and medal (silver) has been given (Yarraji)," he said.
      However all this resulted in disturbing Jyothi & her concentration was broken. A fact later confirmed by Anju Bobby George in her interviews. She also had a delayed start in 2nd run so that she isn't harrassed again, she compensated by strong finish.
      But spreading misinformation is what your algorithm is designed for. The daylight robbery is evident to all those who aren't purposefully spreading misinformation 👍🏻

      @@frankmiller2849 Finally, a fair comment. Anyone who has experienced a false start would know that the runner has no intention to cheat, especially with today's rules where no second chance is given. Yes, Wu did it on another occasion this year, but she had no intention to cheat, it just happens. When you are on the starting blocks in a sprint event, the urge to move forward as soon as possible is so strong that false starts quite often happens. I regard making false starts as Wu's weakness, not an intention to cheat on her part. Though I have to say her protests against the officials is very unsportsmanlike.

      Jyothi's start was delayed in the 2nd run because of the harassment & trauma she faced & the fact she was running under protest without any reason. Jyothi had to run under protest AGAINST the rules since she wasn't the first one who ran it was Wu, she followed her cue, which is UNDER the rules, it is only the first runner who faces protest & dq not others. Wu had the audacity & gall to sway arms at the officials after looking at the video evidence exposing her fault, speaking in a language Jyothi didn't understand, the whole crowd was shamelessly roaring behind the Chinese athlete. Wu feigned ignorance when lane 5 of Jyothi was marked. Jyothi looked visibly disturbed by these unwarranted developments against her. A fact confirmed later by Anju Bobby George in her statements. Jyothi had to run the second time under protest not knowing her fate which is hugely detrimental for an athlete's performance hence she started late trying to ensure that the officials don't harrass & traumatize her again. It was the unbreakable spirit of Jyothi that ensured that all the harrasment & trauma that she faced couldn't stop her from winning the silver medal as she compensated for the delayed start by a strong finish.

      The only good thing about this is the rot of the organisers is out in the open for everyone to see except ofcourse, for those who choose to look the other way. The Chinese player had the audacity to sway her hands at the officials with the crowd roaring for her, feigning ignorance when lane 5 was marked, the replay showed she was aware she was ahead of all others in her false start or was that part cut out in your feed?
