Love this band. Started listening to them when I first heard battle cry under a winter sun. I do miss Jamie hooper screaming though. His live stage presence was amazing. Fire up the blades is still in my rotation on work commutes.
Another awesome interview! Thank you for this! As someone that has been waiting and hoping for 3IOB to come back, this just seems like a great time for them to join a lot of the bands they inspired. Super excited to see them live, as well. I appreciated the call out to UtA, Eternal Champion, Visigoth, who all have some 3IOB DNA in them (and are some of my favorite bands).
Glad you enjoyed it!! Hope you get to see them live as well! What other 3iob inspired bands do you love?
I feel like Huntress / Holy Grail (RIP) are in this conversation for me. Love them. Many doing new things not totally in the same space (like Eli's Ignite and Blake's Persekutor). Lately I've been checking out and enjoying Savage Oath (w/ Leeland from Visigoth).
@@minoo_h Savage Oath is sooooo good!
I definitely have a favorite I went to their very last show and their first reunion show. Over the years I've never heard them play Phantom Of The Crimson cloak
Great pick!
Is there a chance that Jamie Hooper will return? He was great and a founding member
