City in Saudi Arabia
Medina is a city in western Saudi Arabia. In the city center, the vast Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque) is a major Islamic pilgrimage site. Its striking Green Dome rises above the tombs of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH and early Islamic leaders Abu Bakr and Umar. The Masjid al-Qiblatain (Qiblatain Mosque) is known as the site where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH received the command to change the direction of prayer to Mecca.

Al-Masjid an-Nabawī, known in English as the "Prophet's Mosque", is the second mosque built by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, after that of Quba, as well as the second largest mosque and holiest site in Islam, after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, in the Saudi region of the Hejaz.

I have seen many places that we visited in the video.. We frequented that McDonald many times... Medina is very beautiful and peacefull city. We were there March 23 for Umrah visit. We will be coming back again Insha Allah..

Boycott McDonalds and all Western countries companies. They support israel. You should support your own local shops, restaurants, buildings, coffe places and so on
I don't think all western brands are bad. It's always good to buy local when it's available

Zam zam water is not necessarily just blessed water. It comes from the well Allah sent to the wife of Ibrahime 'as' when he left her and Ismail 'as' in the desert to follow the commandments of Allah. There was nothing there and she ran to find water and nothing. Prayed to Allah and he sent the water from the ground. The zam zam well is still there near the kabbah. Never has it depleted and its water is pure with health bennifits. But drink it sitting. I love your video and may Allah reward you brother. ❤

@@TravelingSoloLogs lots. Not many buildings then. The place was not covered that much then now you have all those artificial roofs. There was only 1 lane for visiting the Prophet's qabr unlike your experience, we could go quite close to the grills. And of course no intercontinental hotel and McDonald's 😁

Solid, simple vlog bro. I wish i had the confidence to vlog so openly, as I am also here solo traveling, no family either. Made videos of every place but not this openly lol. Ever since I found out i cant use my Mirrorless Sony a7iv to film or take photos, got shut down by guard when I was in nabawi grounds filming...got so scared I used my phone only going forward. What are you recording on? I assume its a small camera thats acceptable?

good video🥰🥰 my first visit to madinah was on march 2023.. me my wife and 3 of my children.. spent 6 days at madinah and 7 days at mecca.. weather on that time very2 cold🥰🥰 need to wear sweater to masjid..

When you said it was 100 degrees F, was it a dry heat, and, as such, more comfortable than if it were humid?
To be honest I can't remember 100 percent, I just remember it was hot 😅
@@TravelingSoloLogs LOL, OK. I asked because, in contemplating going on hajj one day, inshAllah, I'm wary of really hot weather--but I'm just used to the humid summer weather of the northeastern US. I know that dry heat is more bearable. (And the people in the video didn't seem to be bothered by the heat--although at least some of them probably were Saudis who were used to it.)

@@TravelingSoloLogs thanks Solo, there's a marker on the floor where my greatest grandfather and his acquaintance lived there in 17th century to learn Islam from Sheikh Ibrahim al Kurani. They lived there for 10 years. I would like to reminiscing the feeling by sitting next to the marker.
