Why does vitamin C affect CGMs?

I have never heard of vitamin C affecting CGM’s; I have heard of the active ingredient in Tylenol called acetaminophen in large quantities in a short period of time can cause false high readings. The Dexcom G6 has some blocking properties of acetaminophen, but not in a large amount. I now want to know if there is a correlation between Vitamin C and CGM readings. Great question! 😊

@@MaddieNielsen when I start up the Libre2 it says not to take vitamin C supplements. I was just curious.
