I DO NOT SHIP THEM.
NOr WILL I EVER SHIP THIS KIND OF SICK DERANGED RELATIONSHIP.
But I made this cuz I love how sick he is and how Jessica manage to overcome him and his predatory monstrous mind, I never seen a villain so wrong and so vile as Kilgrave is , I hate to love him so much ,but I do and not like love to want him to live ,no I wanted him dead
from the start I just wanted to see how everything was gonna happen and omg Jessica was amazing she is a such a strong character and a real hero to all women who went though the same thing , like molesting and abusive relationship.
And I was always interested about this kind if sick men what goes on in their heads and how do women escape that how do they survive... I saw it in tv also , like Peter and Lydia and syler and clare and bonnie and kai and joker and Harley ... and you know how that sick thing is gonna end so you don't hope for better cuz these kind of men are sick and deranged and deserve to die,
but still my mind wants to analyze that thing and see where it came from before the end. I cant explain it I know it is wrong and I don't ship them but they are intriguing and the way women overpower this kind of pain is just miracle so I admire them a lot ,especially this kind of manipulation Jessica got from Kilgrave , that is why this is not a ship song or love song or anything connected with LOVE ,
this is just the way he sees her and how much she tries to escape him and survive through his sick obsession over her .

the realtionship is very one sided
but I think Kilgrave wants somthing genuine like love and will do anything to get it beacuse it's the only thing he's never be able to really get
and since Jessica can't be under his control he can finally get the genuine love he's wanted but since she dosent feel the same (or how its shown) he'll do anything to get it beacuse that's all he knows
why do villians always have parent problems?
I know it's not a good excuse, but come on it definitely didn't help him.
He had to use his power to survive and now it's become apart of his life, it's as natural as breathing and he can't turn it off even if he wanted to.
Kilgrave is a very twisted villian but there are both dark and light to every villians just takes a moment to see it.
plus David's performance is so breath takingly amazing as Kilgrave, I can't even match it to his 10th Doctor performance (But even that was Fantasic) but it has its own level.
he definitely gave Kikgrave a who new life on screen, he has definitely take a place up in the cinematic bads
he's now number 2 on my list
next to Tom Hiddleston as Loki ;3

i agree they had an extremely unhealthy relationship, but i believe with her help he could have learned to value human life and become a hero to make up for everything he did. all he knows how to do is take, but I could see something in him, deep inside, that could have been better if any number of things had gone differently, including his childhood. I'm not excusing his actions, but everyone deserves a second chance.

See my issue is I'm a sucker for sob stories so throughout the show whenever he would make his backstory worse than it was or twist it or lie or anything I would get suckered in to it and then get upset when Jessica would see past it
no one ships them its the fact that krysten ritter and david tennant had top chemistry no one is shipping a villian with a hero but part of me felt sorry for him as he could bare listening to the video of him being totured when he said sorry to his mum that was a chance for kilgrave to change his ways and take responsibility for his actions but his mum stabbed him which then kept him away when his mum stabbed him i ended up backing kilgrave and knew that his parents where just pricks
I love this, no matter how it's interpreted, I love it. I dark ship them, as I in love their canon relationship as is and love to explore the dark themes with in it. I even love exploring the idea that her obsession of him runs just as deep as his obsession with her. I like them as this twisted, unhealthy dynamic and hope to god that the finale episode isn't the last we see of him (haven't seen it yet, so I don't know if he's truly gone for good, or if it's just a "gone for now" deal.)
Anyways, love this. You captured their relationship really well here.

I think people ship them because of the actors' chemistry. I would ship them if I had only see them standing together in a photo without knowing the story. But since I do....nah.

This was really really good! I'm glad you put 'I DONT SHIP THEM' in capitals because I almost didnt click, but luckily (so far), the skilled exploration of their absolutely deranged relationship (as you so aptly put it) and his obsession like this one far outnumbers shipping vids. The song was a very good choice! It doesn't have a very strong beat, which made it eery, and the way you edited it with sound effects and scenes that contained very sharp movements still made it feel upbeat and dangerous. Very cool, well done!

I do not ship them at all but holy shit their dynamic on screen is amazing. I'm really hoping Kilgrave comes back because he is honestly one of the most interesting and complicated characters on TV. Never have I seen such a vile villain and liked them. He is beyond being redeemed and the writers made sure of that, that's not something you see very often. it definitely makes for an interesting story because truthly I am sick of bad guys turning good.

Fine this vid explian very well the difficult relationship between them.
Weird in my mind most of all x3 I love him so much because is evil but in a way I always thinking thet he could have been someone a bit less bad if he had a better life or anykind of help like Jessica had with Trish. I mean his power look more like a curse than anything else so...
Maybe Jessica was the only "thing" that could make him less evil but ... clearly she could not be with him... Okay I don't know how to explain but, she's ( and was ) too much manipulated by him ... rape and all that things to be with him...
