This is some of the most important points people need to understand especially from the social media age. Debating is a skill not a hobby. Just because someone asks you to debate on your social media platform, doesn't mean you should. This is an utter disrespect of the religion that anyone with a keyboard and a mouth believes they're qualified to debate. It's like two high schoolers debating intricate details of rocket science. Would you take them seriously? No. You would consider them ignorant and ill mannered. How much more the religion of Allah?

Tafwid - means leaving meaning to Allah.
Tafwid Khayfah - Leaving How of an attribute to Allah. (Correct)
Tawfid Maa'nah - Leave/reject meaning of (a revealed) Attribute to Allah. (False)
Ibn Qudamah We do not accept meaning opposite Apparent Meaning!
Imam Malik says Istiwa is known, Kayfa is unknown!
ibn Hanbal - We believe in those siffat, tasdig, w/o kayf and we don't give maa'naa.... meaning we our selves don't give meaning or don't do tawil but we accept its apparent meaning.

“As for what he mentioned in ‘al-Lum’ah‘, then indeed, he was an adherent upon the methodology of the Mufawwiḍah, it is from the worst of methodologies and the filthiest of them. do you know who yasir qadhi is?
Lots of students of scholars spoke about him an said that he is not reliable and one of the reasons being that he said calling upon the the dead is harram but not shirk.
And anybody who reads the Quran knows this to be a lie.
There are countless verses of the Quran that speak against calling upon the dead, one of them being:
“Such is Allaah, your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmeer (the thin membrane over the date stone).
If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call; and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All-Knower (of everything)”
[Faatir 35:13-14 - interpretation of the meaning]
So Allah calls their prayers to others shirk.
And even yasir qadhi (few years ago) spoke against calling upon the dead and he said it is shirk and he qouted the verse above.
There are no two opinions in this matter,; calling upon the dead is shirk according to the Quran and the Sunnah

It is difficult to circumvent this point when the canonized aqeedah of the Hanabila is tafweed al-ma'na and this is apparent in their books, those of aqeedah and usool. BarakAllahu feekum.

This is not permissible because the meaning is known to the scholars. Maalik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Istiwa’ (rising over) is known, but how it occurred is unknown. This was narrated from Imam Rabee‘ah ibn Abi ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan and from other scholars. The meanings of the divine attributes are known to and understood by Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa‘ah, such as pleasure, anger, love, rising over, smiling and so on. These are meanings that are distinct from other meanings. Smiling is something other than pleasure; pleasure is something other than anger; anger is something other than love; hearing is something other than seeing. All of them are known to be attributes of Allah, may He be exalted, but they cannot be likened to the attributes of created beings. End quote.
Fataawa Noor ‘ala ad-Darb by Ibn Baaz, p. 65
      He also said:
Imam Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) and other leading scholars of the early generations denounced those who promoted tafweed and regarded them as innovators because what their view implied was that Allah, may He be exalted, addressed to His slaves something the meaning of which they could not understand or know what He meant by it. But Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, is far above such a thing and Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa‘ah know what He, may He be glorified, meant by His words; they ascribe to Him what is implied by His names and attributes and they declare Him to be above anything that is not befitting to Him. They know from His words and from the words of His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) that He has the attribute of absolute perfection in all that He has told us Himself or that His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has told us about Him. End quote.

@@3GHee4erwer Ibn Baz (RA) vs Imam Hafid Al Dahabi (RA) and Imam Ibn Qudamah (RA). The chain Ibn Baz (RA) got is fabricated and forged according to Imam Hafid Al-Dahabi (RA).
The most authentic variants transmitted from Imam Malik (RA) with isnad is the following version narrated by Hafid Imam Al-Bayhaqi (RA):
From Ibn Wahb: “We were with Malik when a man asked him: ‘O Abu `Abd Allah! “al-Rahman ‘ala ‘arshi stawa” (20:5): how is His istiwa?’ Malik lowered his head and began to sweat profusely. Then he lifted up his head and said: ‘”al-Rahman ‘ala ‘arshi stawa” just as He described Himself. One cannot ask “how.” “How” does not apply to Him. And you are an evil man, a man of innovation. Take him out!’ The man was led out.”
[Imam Al-Dhahabi (RA) said regarding this: al Bayhaqi brought it with an authentic isnad from abi rabi’ from Ibn Wahb….
Imam Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar (RA) said: Al-Bayhaqi’s isnad from Ibn Wahb is good.
      Implication:
If ‘How’ or modality does not even apply to Him then any idea of not knowing a ‘How’ or Modality is impossible.
Imam Ibn Qudamah (RA) refutes Bin Baz (RA) regarding Tafwid and explains the true creed of the Salaf.
“And they (the Salaf) knew that the One who spoke them (Allah) was truthful without doubt, so they believed Him. And they did not know the reality of their meanings [i.e. the Attributes], so they were silent about what they did not know. The later and the earlier ones adhered to this. Thus, they strongly advised one another of good obedience and stopping where their formers stopped. And they warned from exceeding their bounds and diverging from their [i.e. the Salaf’s] path. Furthermore, they elucidated their methodology and doctrinal positions. We hope to Allah that He makes us from the ones who followed them in explaining what they explained and following the path that they traverse.”

Its very unfortunate of shaykh to have left out the whole sentence from the book of imam ibn qudamah hambali RH. He quoted half of the sentence and ledt out the other half where he clearly meant the meaning known to us is not attributed to Allah. The whole context of his discussion was that meaning is known to us in language but the same meaning cannot be given when it comes to Allah swt, infact in one place he mentioned no one knows Arabic language more than our Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam, so if we consign one meaning to these sifaat then how can we say that's the correct meaning of this sifaat and not the other.

Bi la kayf- without a how. "HOW" doesn't apply to Allah ta'ala nor His Attributes reasons being: "kayfiyyah (how or modality)" by clear definition even in the arabic language relates to: an incident, an event, experence, expression, system, method, jawhar (particle), arad (attribute of a particle), or a jism (body) which is made up of a jawhar and arad and which has shape, form, depth, width, & length. All of those things are specific to creation & indicate that "HOW" only relates to created things. Allah ta 'ala is totally clear from those created things. Therefore "HOW" do not apply to Allah. To say we don't know "HOW" when it relates to Allah ta'ala or His Attributes is to affirm a "HOW" which is ilhad (blasphemy). Case close on this matter.

You don't define the word "يد" by the dictionary as the heretics (asharis and their likes) force you to do since defining them by the dictionaries dwells into the kay'fiyyah which is what the salaf said not to indulge in and neither do dictionaries even define words by the apparent, in fact it's the opposite they do it by its denotative characteristics.
So to define the apparent, we define يد by its function, due to trying to define it in line with dictionaries is incorrect as they use the denotative meaning which dwells into the kay'fiyyah.
Like i keep mentioning, trying to define the sifat in line with dictionaries is faulty because they focus on particulars and a denotative meaning. Which again dwells into the kay'fiyyah; which is rejected (having knowledge of)
There are types of definitions in the Arabic language: al-Rasm and al-Hadd, explaining by the rasm definition is what we do as the hadd [definition] dwells into the kay'fiyyah.
So don't be forced by ahlul-bid'ah to define it by the dictionary.
Its meaning would be "it is an eternal attribute established in Allah’s essence, by which He creates with (created Adam with both Hands, created the qalam, the Arsh, wrote the torah as mentioned by the hadith and etc.), he grips and folds with (surah Zumar: 37) and so on."

JazakAllahu Khayr for bringing a legitimate Hanbali work from a legitimate Hanbali Murji. But Ustad with all due respect, Ibn Qudama did not go around bashing the position of the rest of the Ummah, he gave the Hanbali position and left it be. Just because, Imam Hanbal said it, doesn't mean it is Hujjah. This debate will never end and the learned have learned to live with differences of opinion. Asharis are the majority of the Ummah and they have the overwhelming majority of the scholars and the Mujtahids. No, the majority is not in error according to the riwayah mutawatirah attributed to Prophet. For Asharis and Maturidis Allah simply does not have a hand, feet, shin or face (glory be to him far is he removed from human similarities and attributes) plain and simple - it is majaz. They are linguistic metaphorical expressions well known in the Arabic language that you claim to know so much.
