So i love how you guys try out something unique every time, and most of the time it works. I'm not saying it didn't work with this one. Cathedral is a beautiful piece. However, you guys are amazing with giving an almost spiritual experience with your tracks. You have some beautiful vocals, unique sounds. There are only a handful of artists that are capable of creating a soul within their sounds and you are one of them. You do it great and you put a mesmerizing finish to your tracks, they feel like a journey or an emotion and they are often inviting. The same goes for cathedral, i loved how the track developed. The only problem is that the inviting sensation that is intrinsic to your art did not develop enough with this one.
With 'Grace' or 'Haze' the music develops into pure euphoria, you wait for the come-up and then there is a beautiful 'drop' that feels like a massage on your entire soul, with cathedral there is only an intro. I feel like your vocals and drops that feel like a huge dose of MDMA are lacking with this piece. This kinda disappointed me a little because me and my friends are in love with your tracks but this one just didn't quite catch us. We obviously like it more and more with every replay but i was waiting for 'something' as i listened to this track that just never came. Who knows, maybe this was the point. Nevertheless, you guys rarely release new pieces so i am a bit frustrated with this piece because i will probably have to wait one more year for your next masterpiece.
