This was one I have added since our last cruise. I take a reusable cup for the free beverages on the pool deck, but I will bring a reusable straw or some disposable straws next time. DCL has gone paper straws or candy straws. The candy ones can be fun, but sometimes you just want a regular straw.
This is what we do when flying down to the cruise. We have one carry-on bag on the plane and then when coming home, we have two carry-on bags and they’re usually full of clothes and laundry stuff they can be jammed in somewhere.
Love the Disney treasure 💕so beautiful my goal for 2025 is to save up money 💴 to go on a Disney cruise the rooms are amazing and I’m obsessed with the haunted mansion pub just the coolest thing happy new year to you as well🥳
I need to try the ginger. I don't have motion sickness issues, but the rich food gets me every time. We bring Benadryl in case of motion sickness. One thing that worked well and we'll do it again was a folding cloth box for shoes. Our pool shoes end up everywhere so the box keeps them in one place. I haven't been able to make the magnets on the walls work, I think it needs to be a really heavy-duty magnet. Folding totes are good in case there are souvenirs that won't fit.
My sister and I went on the Wish then to WDW after and boy did we buy stuff! When we got to Disney Springs we went to the Post Office and mailed a huge box each home. We did it again before we left WDW at the end of the trip because we bought more stuff. I heard the PO store may go away. FYI: With the Room Decor packages they do come with a nice heavy bag but it is cumbersome when you are also trying to navigate your luggage as well.
For allergies: make sure you tell them in advance through the website and talk to your service team on the ship. I hear they are truly great with allergies but make sure you always ask. I have not had personal experience with autism but hear they are very good with it also. Big key is communication so they can assist. They will know all the quiet spots for sure. I can share what I think about quiet though as it’s a huge need for me. Which ship?

Love that. Silicone straws are so much better than paper.
Good tips. Also, you can bring an extra empty bag for the things you buy.
Great point!

If you're staying at Disney World before your cruise, the refillable mugs that you can get at the resorts are great for the ship.
Great tip!
Great video. Too funny though as all the cars on the port shot are going backwards!
Thank you!

The food gets to me also after a while. We have some lozenges that work for that and motion that are really great.

Great idea to ship!
Thanks!
We appreciate your support!
Good tips.
Glad you liked them!
How do you vacuum seal stuff to bring home?
They use compression instead of a pump so I lay on them. There are some in our link in the video description.
Are there any tips on allergies and autistic accommodation? Like quiet spaces ect?

Any suggested hotels by the port (Port Canaveral) ?
We usually stay at the Country Inn and Suites.
