Geto is not jealous, the point is that THIS is the turning point of his moralitys switch. He really wanted to kill them with Gojo BUT he is still trying to hold on his moral compassion.
Geto is really a well written character, cant wait for the next episode to drop
Crazy how Geto trying to talk himself out of it brought Gojo back from this. Man could've said "bet lets do it", and Gojo would've probably turned into the main villain right there. Talked himself into sticking with his moral compass, and kept his friend from going off the deep end.
this is where geto picked up the "monkey" term from toji. Now you know what brainwashed him and why he hates maki, both toji and maki are from zenin clan and both kinds have similar physical strength heavenly restriction.
Gojo's parent's must've put in crazy amounts of cheatcodes when they produced Satoru Gojo, unbelievable

toji can see curses (and also why he can hold a cursed spirit in his stomach without getting affected) is because his body and senses are just so enhanced that he sees them just like anything else

@@sicawhoremanchester6821 he can see the curses, period. And in the manga it's even more clear with Maki since she can literally see Naoya and recognize him from his appeareance. Simply his sense are so powerful that he can see the curses anyway.

It’s very poetic that Toji left Geto with curse (and the use of the word monkey lol), and he left Gojo a blessing (since Megumi means blessing in Japanese)
To answer your question about toji being able to see curses and maki needing glasses to is because of a difference in the power of they're heavenly restriction. In tojis case his heavenly restriction made him have 0 cursed energy which then granted him super human abilities and boosted all of his senses. Which is as you suggested the reason as to why he can see and interact with curses without needing something like maki. Toji is on a completely different level. As to save you from spoilers this is just a simple explanation the details about the heavenly restrictions and stuff would spoil so yeah
you'll see more of how geto's character go next episode but its def not jealously! It's gonna be more on how different they dealth with the trauma Toji left on both of them and a lot of other stuff
Yeah ngl this fight was the reason I started reading, after Season 1.
Remember that for Gojo's technique, blue represents negative energy and red represents positive energy. That might make the post-credits scene make more sense, since it is showing how they are both starting to change their perspectives toward what we see in season 1
When Toji was talking about the "blessings of parentage" he said "megumi", which means blessing in Japanese.

This is based from my understanding:
Geto was all like "jujutsu sorcerer must protect non-jujutsu sorcerers". Guess who were the their enemies of this arc? Toji (someone with no curse energy) and the Star Religious Group (group of non-jujutsu sorcerers).
Toji killed Riko right infront of Geto and also seen a bunch of Star Religious Group have the gal to clap as Riko's death body passes by.
In the first episode, he said that eating curses was horrible, taste like vomit and dirty rag. He was suffering as he did so and yet he probably continue to do so because of his belief that it was for the sake of protecting non-jujutsu sorcerers.
Experiencing and seeing the clap of non-jujutsu sorcerers? He was probably like "This is the people I was supposed to protect? The ones I suffered for?"
This brought back the scene when the principal tested Itadori why he wanted to be a jujutsu sorcerer. Itadori answered something along the lines of "for his grandfather". The principal didn't like that and retorted that when he faced death, he will regret and resent his grandfather.
Geto probably became a sorcerer "for the non-jujutsu sorcerer". Now faced with tradegy, he will no doubt started to think of the reason why and how he reach the current point. He will start thinking far back to think how it all started.
Well obviously, we know the end of all this.

Toji can see curses yes in part because of his senses being enhanced, however the other part is a spoiler. its explainedd later on why maki cannot see curses and toji could, later on.

For Maki and Toji every Heavenly Restriction isnt the same meaning just because Maki cant see cursed spirits doesnt mean everybody with a heavenly Restriction cant. Dont forget Yuji also has a HR but can see spirits still

Also, you see Geto using the worm curse to pull things like the playful cloud cursed weapon out in JJK 13:05

You find out later (way later in the manga) why Toji is able to see curses and why he is on a different level of power with his heavenly restriction then maki is with hers. Can’t explain without spoiling MAJOR plot points but we will see this played out in season 3.
Toji's Heavenly Restriction is superior to Maki's. She still has a tiny amount of Cursed Energy remaining. Like, less than that of even a regular person's, but still a small amount nonetheless. Toji has absolutely none. Zero percent. Zilch. In exchange, not only are his physical stats way higher than Maki's, so are his senses. Because his senses are so enhanced, he can observe the world with perfect clarity. The way he sees curses is more through his five senses working together to give him an ultra realistic impression of the curse via the surrounding air currents, scent, sounds, etc. Think of it like Daredevil's radar sense, rather than him actually seeing it.
Toji can't see the curses but he can feel them his senses are enanced to the point of being able to see the temperature of the air and thanks to that he is able to locate curses because the air around them is slightly deformed.
Yeah Tojis 5 senses are also super human which allows him to see curses.

You could say Geto absorb Toji's Cursed Spirit, but absolutely not his Curse Technique. Mf doesn't have Curse Energy, obviously he doesn't have Curse Technique.

Maki still has little cursed energy unlike toji who's fully awoken and has zero cursed energy, so all his senses are super enhanced. The reason why maki has little residual of cursed energy and isn't fully awoken will be revealed later, down the line.
