I was pretty sad about the DS store closing and whatnot but only because I had no idea it would affect turnip prices ever changing again, no dream tours available and the campers at Harvs are like the same 5 over and over. I had no idea how much was affected by it.... Wish I played New Leaf when it came out, but I was late to the animal crossing game world. (Starting playing during covid lol) Also I wasted forever to get the tortimer club thing and it never works for me, I just gave up on it.
Also the merch is super cute but other countries never get a chance, unless through third party means and I am not a fan of that.
Everytime i look at the countdown till nintendo shuts down the server. I feel depressed
I'm sad 3DS online is shutting down... I wish it could just stay online forever :(

the whole online shutting down for 3ds can be 'avoided' persay, but thats if you have the 3ds emulator on pc or have a homebrew 3ds, which i am sure someone in the scene will make it possible for us to play online with each other again.

Although I officially stopped playing ACNH in the summer of 2022, I did recently play it a few times to get those My Nintendo rewards, and in the process I caught my first Golden Trout!

No, you would need a second switch to support the second island / digital copy unfortunately

Still confused over the starting a second island with a new purchase of the game; has something changed radically here from needing a new console to actually do this? I've been looking around and not seeing info that differs.
Sadly you have to get a new console since the game save is console bound.
Um or get a modded console but they tend to cost more. Still how come no one else ever says that?
