You had that big of an influence on the desi community lmao!! Omg the nostalgiaaaa, everything was on point! I am a Punjabi Pakistani, but my parents would watch this show on the Indian channels. I loved this show it had it's charm and i loved the host sm lmao it was very chill and calming! and yes!! he literally was always standing in those exact spots next to flowers and a park!!! he'd start the show at a park and end it exactly where you did near the rose garden lmao wow so good!!! i also liked how they would show those segments about our folk cultures and the beautiful valleys, mountains, fields, etc. by giving different tribes and villages a spotlight. even though our people were silly, i still loved what we had haha it was still rich. LOLL the ending poem that he would always say at the end of every episode!!!! I treasure these memories. this show was one of the best things in life fr. it was hilarious how they would mix traditional with modern hahaha and end with a modern punjabi music video.😂 that skype music video is an ACTUAL one video lol. they were all like that! hahahahaha.

So good! This reminds me of the boring shows that used to be on before the cartoons in the U.S. back in the late 80s early 90s. If you woke up too early you were treated to AG country USA. A kind of farm report/rural news show and that was followed by a very local talk/variety show usually hosted by the local newspaper contributors. Not really similar in subject but in quality and professionalism, lol

The father and son were real estate agents in real life and the daughter was a paralegal for an ambulance chaser lawyer. I remember a total conflict of interest since they advertised their real estate broker and lawyer on the ads. City pulled all that programming in 2019. And bad commercials for jewelry stores, TV and appliance sales, and furniture stores.
