I would love to see designers bring back a repeat of popular older fabrics (make them available again)! For example, the purple and teal flower quilt (Quilting Treasures) fabrics are beautiful! I would purchase that collection in a heartbeat! My suggestion: Each season, when they release their new collections, they ought to bring back one of their older ones as well !!!
I enjoyed all of you. You are getting better every viedeo. I have your book and you have kept me motivated to continue on in these uncertain times. Thank you so much
Great show thank you for the instruction on how to piece a backing and for the suggestions on each kit. Please continue the suggestions for the kits it really helps. See you soon. Be safe and stay healthy
Donna, John and Hannah thank you for a brilliant video post. Those fabrics were just delicious - great to see the backings. This was an outstanding episode and really appreciate the hard work that goes into the presentation. Donna, the top you were wearing is just beautiful :-) Keep well and safe all of you. Again, thank you.
Have you ever considered also selling 3 yards of fabic separately? Many times I like the fabric you choose, however, I would like to use that fabric choice in a different 3 yard quilt pattern that I have already purchased. I appreciate your consideration. Thank you Cheryle O'Brien
I Cheryle! Thanks for watching and commenting! We do off some of our fabric by the yard on our website, however most of our fabric is made into quilt kits and not sold individually. Currently we offer our kits with a free pattern of your choosing, so you are able to choose one that you do not currently have if you would like. Offering them without the pattern is something to consider. Thanks for the suggestion, Cheryle! 😊
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have one additional idea I'd like Fabric Cafe to consider. When displaying the three feature fabrics you'll sometimes include pieces and parts which is helpful and on occasion you'll put up an "image" of what the finished quilt will look like. Is it possible fo display an image of the finished quilts when using alternative fabrics other than shown in the displayed quilts? You may even sell more quilts when able to see the whole enchilada!
I attempted to print out your PDF backing patterns. The 3 yard quilt backing layout and the lap sized quilt backing layout are identical pages. Both say “Preparing Backing for a 3-yard Quilt”. Is there supposed to be a different layout for the “lap quilt”?
Hi Teresa, conceivably, you could make two small crib quilts. the size would be about 30 x 42 inches or less, depending on which pattern you chose to make. The more intricate the piecing, the smaller the quilt.

Hi Patricia, A 3-yard quilt is a lap-size quilt. So, yes it is the same instruction. Donna
I love the tip to cut a 108” backing fabric. In half for two three yard lap quilts backing !
Can 1 kit make 2 crib quilts?

Hello. I purchased two books. Please show the back cover of all your books so we can see the all patterns in the individual volumes. Thank you.
You can also see all the quilts for each book on out website, www.fabriccafe.com. Thanks for commenting! Donna
Can I just order friends and family fabric?
If you want to get a book, do you need to buy 3 quilt kits at the same time ? Or can you buy one, then maybe two the next time?
Hi Rhonda, to take advantage of the book deal you will need to purchase 3 quilt kits in the same order. Thanks for asking!
I make Memorial quilts and I would like to see some patterns that I could use for the memorial quilts
Hi Delana, our patterns are specifically written for 3, one-yard cuts of fabric. Donna
I noticed the binding was a little different in Tropical sunset. Can you explain it pleases
Here's a blog I did on the economy binding. It takes half as much fabric and makes a pretty petite binding. I love it! Donna
Hi you said the download is free with a code. I can't find the code. I would like to have the download thanks so much
